What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Yes, those "wins" are nice! I actually still use MFP to track my daily weight and it counts that towards a streak...

I love this stuff. It's hard for me to drink to strong but I use unsweetened almond milk when I splurge. I use a little milk frother to do a single small serving. Sooo good.

Good morning JB and Menuers,
I am typing from here at work because I was not blocked. Yippie! But I am technologically challenged. I talk to a younger person here at work and he helped me realize I can not use Google Chrome as my browser. I guess when OH updated it is not compatible with Google Chrome so we opened it in Microsoft Edge and I am back in business. I am so happy It would have been a pain if I had to do a cut a paste post but everything is good. I honestly had a hard time sleeping because I was worried about not being able to be on here. This is such a crucial part of being accountable I would have a hard time without all of you.
Does anyone do the Mask Singer? Wow how awesome was last night. I thought is was great.
QOTD: I felt unhealth walking up the two small flights of steps to my office. I remember having to stop on the landing and having to catch my breath. Then when I got in my office to sit down to catch my breath before I did anything else. I also remember me and DH taking a walk around the block and me being in pain for days. Now I run the steps every morning without holding on and I run that block in the neighborhood and added 2 more miles to it. WINNING.
Accountability: I did great finally reigned it back in.
Accountability: The last 2 days I been snacking on crap and when I got home last night i was super lethargic I fell to sleep in the living room and picked myself up and got to be by 9 with no exersize.

QOTD- When I interviewed for my current job we walked up a flight of stairs and I was winded, I was so embarrassed. The pictures were also a shock, I thought my clothes were cute and I was effectively camouflaging my size but I just looked fat.
So sorry to hear about the way this virus is hurting your friends and families. This is a terrible time and I hope we all can get through it intact, or as close as possible.
It's hard to stay on track, but I'll keep on trying. I need to let go of the things that are annoying me and do what is best for my own health and well being.
Have a great Friday eve everyone!

Good morning friends. It's a warm, pretty day here. I'm lucky enough to be working and healthy. I feel so badly for everyone being challenged by this virus. Grateful for the medical professionals who continue to take a stand and put themselves at risk every day. Keeping my focus on my blessings if I start to complain.
QOTD: UGH! I have picture from last year on voting day. We did a company team WE VOTED picture, (it's a very tiny company. 13 of us). I still can't believe that is me in the picture. How did that happen? I'd gotten to the point that I would not go out and meet up with some of my girlfriends if I knew their friends would be there. I knew I'd spend all evening analyzing how much bigger I was than them. So unhealthy for my mental state of mind. Now I am still very insecure, but feeling so much more comfortable in my body. I have the photo from voting day, but I might need to get my husband to take a new photo tonight of me. I've been very camera shy during this process. It's one week away from the 6 month mark, so maybe it's time.

I had my husband take pictures of my from all four sides every month on my surgery date. I'm so grateful I did that - for one, on days when I felt I wasn't making any progress, I could look at them and see that I most definitely WAS. I couldn't always see it from one month to the next, but looking at the most recent picture, and then comparing it to the ones that were taken three (or four...or whatever) months earlier, I could DEFINITELY see the difference. Also, now that I'm in maintenance, it's nice to have that photographic documentation of my journey.

I used to play this silent game in my head on the subway where I looked around and tried to decide if I was the fattest one on the train. It's was not a fun way to pass the time but I couldn't stop myself.
