What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Holy moly! I'm so sorry. This delivery thing is not all that cracked up to be. If I lived Any closer I would have volunteered to go shopping for you.
Happy early birthday to you and your kiddo!

My Mom doesn't drive anymore and has been dependent on delivery for her groceries for the last couple of years. Unfortunately the windows for delivery disappeared and she couldn't get delivery. So she did a pickup and was given a time. So I went to the store at the time specified and called to have them bring out the groceries. The answer was the time on the order is not the actual time it will be ready. They said it would be 1- 1 1/2 hours, and they would call when it was ready. So basically the time for pickup isn't really the time... I went home and mowed my lawn. But this is crap. You would think that they would honor the people *****quire home delivery over the new customers, just my opinion. Now she has finally got a window so hopefully she will continue to get her deliveries in a timely manner. Can't wait for this to be over...
Sorry about being hacked and hope you and your kiddo have as good a birthday as possible!

Oh no! I had a grocery delivery issue too, so feel your pain! I hope it comes soon and has all the things you need... We decided to do pick up from our local store because our place has lots of stairs and we wanted to save the $10 delivery fee. I placed the order, and there was a 5 day wait to pick up. I said in my order email (we live rurally) that we have severe allergies and to not replace anything without checking with me first. Communication was terrible... when we got the order they forgot two things, but had charged us for them, and over charged us for 22 cucumbers instead of the 2 we ordered, and about 5 of the items had been swapped out. It took us two more trips to the store to fix things, which meant triple the exposure we would normally get just shopping weekly on our own... What a headache! That was the first and only time we did our shopping with an order! Thankfully the store has good social distancing measures in so we're actually safer doing our own shop I think...

Good morning JB and Menuers,
Well I missed you guys yesterday. I have been so busy at work I really can't take the time to breath, and on top of that it looks like the company has blocked me from OH. When I get on I can see it but some stuff is scrambled and I can't get in to the community. So bummed. However I can jump on before I get in my shower and check in from my phone so it won't be too bad.
QOTD: Honestly I can not relate because I have been doing normal life. Nothing much diffrent here but I miss the get togethers with friends and family the most. I do have my very 1st Zoom meeting this morning at 9:30 so I will be introduced to the world of zoom today.
Accountability: The last 2 days I been snacking on crap and when I got home last night i was super lethargic I fell to sleep in the living room and picked myself up and got to be by 9 with no exersize.

Oh it stinks that they blocked you at work! I've always been nervous that they will--yet another benefit of the work form home lifestyle!

I got some of that Aldi's chocolate hummus the other day and cracked it open yesterday. Not bad! I need to watch it, though - I can see spreading that on too many cookies! I'm glad it has chickpeas in it, though - so not super unhealthy. Plus 50 calories in 2 T isn't bad - as long as I don't spread half the container on a bunch of cookies!
Good morning everyone! I think I pulled something in my neck as it's been hurting since yesterday. Took some Tylenol last night before bed which pretty much did nothing and I didn't get much sleep. This morning it hurts even worse. Ugh. Not sure if I'll get my workout in today if it keeps up like this. Blah It's always something it seems. Otherwise, I had a pretty good day yesterday aside from getting a late start with work due to system issues. Accountability was probably the best it's been the past few days. Yesterday was the monthly support group meeting my surgeons office has. I never get to attend them because I'm always working, but this one was virtual so I took advantage of it and really enjoyed it! Since it was virtual they said it was their biggest turn out with over 30 people. A lot of them were pre-op and just trying to get all of the requirements met and some were 10 plus years out from surgery. It was helpful hearing their tips and relating to their struggles. Got to speak with the dietitians and nurse practitioner as well. Got recipe ideas etc. I wish they would have these meetings virtually from now on.
