Thank you for the birthday thoughts and a speedy recovery to you, Cara. Sending flowers in this environment seems like a really bad idea, so I will just send my well wishes for time being.

Good luck with your surgery! Be safe - it sounds like proper precautions are being taken.

I hope your brother and SIL can keep her mother safe. I have a lot of friends I met through my support groups dealing with this. COVID-19 is rampant in some of the Massachusetts long-term care facilities and they can't even visit their people regardless. We are actually glad my DH didn't have to live through this.

Thank you, Liz.

I know what you mean about your DH! I too have been grateful, in my case that I don't have to worry about my parents. I would be so concerned about protecting my mom's health. And my dad, who was an M.D., would without a doubt want to be on the front lines, sword drawn, doing battle. That would make me worry terribly. I miss both of them so much, but am glad that they have been spared this.

Good afternoon... I actually had a good sleep last night and feeling like a million bucks today.

Accountability: WINS: Went for a brisk 6 km walk yesterday, the first activity I've done in over a month. It was great being outside in the sunshine and seeing nature up close. Ate everything on my menu up to the last snack. Ate less points than the day before. Logged everything I ate. LOSSES: Was having bad period cravings and feeling sorry for myself because of ovarian cyst pain, so got into the chocolate and chips around 8 PM. Woke up feeling VERY sore and annoyed at myself for letting myself stop walking the last month.

QOTD: Introverts need alone time. Family home isn't alone. We need bigger house. Get me outta here.

Today's Menu:

Meal 1: Kale & lentil salad (14 pts)

Meal 2: Leftover taco meat on romaine with cheese, sour cream, and salsa (7 pts)

Nighttime snack plan: Apple & babybel cheese, applesauce, veggie sticks with hummus (11 pts)

Trying to decide about what to plan for each day is starting to frustrate me. Part of me just wants to say F it and eat whatever but the discipline side of me is saying to keep my butt in check.

I know that planning is what's best for me but sometimes not having everything available in the house things get limited.

For breakfast I had a quest peanut butter protein shake mixed with 8 oz of water

For lunch I had left over spaghetti sauce with cheese tortelini's since I have no more edamame pasta left

Trying to keep dinner simple and will probably have ham roll up with folio cheese wrap

QOTD: Hoping for normalcy soon
