OMG... I flippin' love that! I have two kitties, Xander & Xena, they were siblings we adopted as kittens. Xander is a tuxedo and Xena is a calico. I'm a crazy cat lady, can you tell?! haha

Good morning menu friends! It's a gloomy day here today with quite a bit of rain predicted for this afternoon and evening. Lily and I already have 2.3 miles in and will do more later on. Accountability was perfect yesterday both food and stepwise and weight is 120 today. No extra bites yesterday either. No exciting plans today as I got my cleaning done yesterday. I'm sure I'll spend time knitting though to keep my hands busy. QOTD Tigger. Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c chili D 4 oz of whatever protein hubby cooks. Goals are no snacks and 100 ounces of fluids too. Stay safe and make some great choices everyone!
Mornin' Everyone!
It's already 49 F here and supposed to get up into the 50s, and it's very sunny as well with zero chance of rain, so we'll definitely be out walking today. Other than that...?? My brother is anxious for me to keep watching Better Call Saul (I'm still working on season 1!), so I may do some of that - and read of course. And I REALLY need to start on a project because I feel like I have the perfect opportunity since we're stuck in the house, and I've barely made a dent in the huge list of things that need to be done. I've been feeling very unproductive. Sigh.
accountability was great yesterday, but my weight is still up from Friday. Hopefully I'll see a big drop tomorrow ("big" these days is a pound).
QOTD: hmmm.....I used to love Peanuts when I was a kid, but not any one particular character. I followed Tom Tomorrow religiously a few years back, but that's a political comics strip rather than a cartoon, so it probably doesn't count!

Good morning menu crew!
not much planned today. Not feeling well as per the usual but I?ve got nothing important to do today. I?m still really liking headspace and I?ve done four days in a row.

Newb here... do you mind me asking why you're not feeling well "as usual"? I noticed you had a revision done after the sleeve and curious if it's related to that?
My auntie uses headspace too and loves it. She set up a little meditation corner in her guest room and finds that has made it even nicer.
I play Klondike on my iPhone and am somewhat addicted. LOL

Don't mind at all!
i have a very bad Lower back and I'm needing surgery but the insurance company is being a pain in the butt(currently in the appeal process). It's pretty much pain 24/7 in my back and esp my legs. Some days it's just hard to get through. I've had shot in my back and physical therapy but it didn't help unfortunately.
My revision was for GERD. But it is back...not as bad but enough to be annoying lol.
The headspace course I'm taking is for pain management and I really like it.
thank you for asking and welcome to the menu thread!

That sounds awful. I can relate a little... I have severe chronic pain from SI joint dysfunction in my hip/lower back from an injury in my early 20's, but thankfully I get reprieves from the pain now and then. No cure or surgery though, so I just manage it with alternating heat and cold, and a little chiro when it's not spasming a lot. Fingers and toes crossed that insurance approves you soon so you can get some relief! It's a bummer when you really want to be active but your body won't cooperate.

Hey JB and Menuers,
I got up at 7 that's a sleep in day for me . I made that crustless quiche for breakfast DH thought it was good I just ate a bit to fill my pouch but it was cold by the time I got to it. If you make it be sure to eat it warm
QOTD: Fog Horn Leg Horn!!! Reminds me of my deceased father.
Accountable was good yesterday but the scale was up . I was surprised. I exercise and ate healthy. That Keto cookie may have been the culprit.
no menu plan today except going to get in all my water, coffee and vitamins. I plan on getting out and walking another few miles before the day is over.
Have a great day.
Brightest Blessings
Chrissy
