Color Street is great. I have nails that break easily. With the Color Street my nails look great and don't break. I do put a coat of Sally Hanson clear instant-drying topcoat over the strips.

Oh forgot to mention my accountability for yesterday. Well I did really well with sticking to plan up until last night. I told myself I would reward myself with one treat if I broke 180 pounds so guess what my treat was? A damn Cadbury cream egg. I walked extra on the treadmill just so I could have that egg, but I still feel guilty!

I often feel like rewarding myself. It's hard to break that cycle for me. With my binge eating disorder I have a hard time stopping at one so I think you did great!

Oh trust me it was so hard as I definitely did not want to stop at one! I knew though that I'd feel even more guilty if I had another. I still have 3 left as it came 4 to a pack and it's going to be so hard not to indulge again, but I told myself I'd only have one as a reward. So once I meet my next goal I may have another. Probably not the best idea though since sweets make me crave more sweets. Thank you though. I think it's awesome that you've been able to resist temptation! Congrats on losing the regain!

Good morning menu friends! Miss Lily and I have 2.3 miles under our belt and will most likely do 2 more walks today as I'm sure we'll be bored and be ready to get out and stretch our legs. Already have a load of laundry in and need to do some cleaning of our little home today. At least it doesn't take long as there isn't much space. Yesterday I weeded and trimmed badly overgrown hedges. Monday I'll finish that up and work on the butterfly garden. Gardening is fun as you get to be outside and it is relaxing too. Hubby pressure washed cabin porches and the sidewalk between them. If it rains I have some sorting and cleaning of storage rooms I can do too. I'm going to be so bored when we go home. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 120.4 today. QOTD I colored my hair since the quarantine but I usually do it myself as I'm frugal and it needs done frequently as there is LOTS of gray. It's the price I pay to refuse to look my age and that's fine! Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c chili D 4 oz grilled chicken. I'll stay away from the snacks and be sure to get my 100 ounces of fluids too. Stay safe and make some great choices today everyone !

Good Saturday morning!

Its a good day so far, I?ve lost all the weight now that I gained on gabapentin and lyrica. Woot! Now to lose the 17 pounds I gained from my depression stuff(due to the back pain and all that Jazz). I?m ready and doing ok :)

not much in the plans today. Not feeling particularly well but not sick. Just tired I guess. Not much sleep. I?ve also been having a rough time with the Tylenol 4s. I need to try miralax again and hope it works. The times I tried miralax before it didn?t help a whole lot(yes I did it for a week, everyday). So frustrating!

qotd:I HATE my hair as it is right now. It seems the shorter I go the flooffier it gets. I just hate it. But no I will not cut it myself LOL. I would royally mess it up.

b:baked oatmeal

s:PP shake

l:salmon and fried cauliflower rice

s:yogurt and blueberries

d:oatmeal and popcorn. I don't even get it but I've accounted for it.

s:1/2 cup strawberries, 1/2 oz jersey and 2 small turkey sausage sticks

kind of over did it today but I was more active with cleaning and such.

Just noticed in my message where I commented Grim's work Grim was changed to From. Wish I could turn off auto correct.

Weighed this morning and have lost 2.4 lbs. since Tuesday. I know it's not far but I'll take it.

QOTD: I have really short hair or I did. Not liking it growing out but I won't cut myself. I did but color yestetday. I went gray a couple years ago then I went to work at an elementary school and those kids made way too many remarks about my age. I colored my hair and saw a difference.

The last 2 Saturdays I got Papa Murphy pizza but not going to today. I usually eat 2 slices of pizza but a healthier option will be better.

Going to finish a few masks today and then work on a quilt.

Mornin' All!

well it's a beautiful sunny day today and it's supposed to be in the 50s to boot, so a walk is definitely on the agenda. I also need to do weights in my basement - will probably wait until after dark for that. It's also grocery store day - YIPPEE! I can't believe how much I look forward to grocery shopping now that we're stuck in the house 24/7. DH is also going to clean and seal the grout in his bathroom this weekend. Mine is overdue as well, but the thought of doing that is not appealing. I might wait for some rainy, awful day to do it. I should probably also get some reading in since the public libraries will open again - for at least curbside service - after next week, so I'll have several books due..

accountability was fine yesterday up until dinner. It was our anniversary, so we got take out - and the restaurant threw in a bottle of champagne for free (!). We split an order of mushroom risotto and a Caesar salad, and I ordered the large thing of cornbread thinking the small would be like one piece, and I didn't want half a piece of cornbread. That large order turned out to be a whole freakin pan of it! So I had a glass of champagne, about 3/4 C of risotto, the equivalent of a side-salad portion of the Caesar salad (so far so good....) and WAY too much cornbread with jalapeno butter (not good - I mean amount-wise, not taste-wise!). So....that little splurge pretty much killed my day - if not a huge chunk of my week. Crap. Well, today is another day...

QOTD: my hair person cut my hair shorter than usual last time, so I'm OK haircut-wise. My gray roots are showing, though..not sure if I want to let it go or try to "fix" them myself.

TSS: 4y10m

B: protein pancakes topped with plain Greek yogurt and blueberry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: Fit Frappe

L: 2 Costco chicken skewers, maybe a small salad with light dressing

AS: L&F yogurt with raspberries - or a piece of lemon blueberry yogurt pie

D: the innards of chicken tacos (I don't have enough tortillas for the two of us - so I'll let DH have them)

have a great day, everyone!

Good morning, everybody!

Its nice and sunny here today and is supposed to be spring like this week. I did my daughter's taxes for her as a surprise. She will be happy because she is getting a good sized refund.

Timely QOTD JB as we just broke these bad boys out and are going to be doing haircuts tonight.

We tested, and they actually do work after a bit of oil.

Breakfast: peanut butter toast

Snack: protein bar

Lunch: tenderloin

Snack: nuts

Dinner: steak

have a great day, all!
