What's on your (PHOTO FRIDAY) Menu, RNYers?

That's fantastic! The only thing that'd make it better if it were in my house! LOL

Great job, Grim!! I love all of it!!
I am going to do a mud bench in my foyer similar to yours. I am trying to decide on a design and have been searching the internet like crazy! I may make the bench with a flip top so the kids can hide stuff in it. I already have a shoe rack so I don't need cubbies. I may use cabinets for above the refrigerator for the top part. Decisions, decisions!!

hi all
I finally slept alllll night yay me! also my weight was down also- now to just keep the trend. I've been trying NOT logging the past 2 ish weeks so that I can wrap my brain around practicing what a proper meal is and see if I can do that and lose at the same time. we will see.
so I went to the overstock store the other day- they sell food so they are open-and got a flat of mushrooms. so now I'm finding new ways to do things with mushrooms. so far ive roasted them alongside bacon cooking, then did a separate version in the IP with tomato and leftover chickpeas? I'm also thinking to do a ground turkey, food processed mushroom and egg blend burger or meatloaf? ive bought the prepackaged ones before and even snuck them to DH and he ate them. mind you he hates mushrooms. but let just leave that info out of it.. hahahaha
QOTD: I would say my dogs most of the time unless they are barking- Bell the 'puppy' is very vocal. barks at EVERYTHING which is usually a bird outside, me, her sister, DH walking upstairs (doesn't understand concept of upstairs downstairs noises)
YOGA- man have I missed you lol
shopping - need I say more
food plan today
coffee

more coffee
not sure on breakfast- I have egg whites, eggs, maybe a chia protein pancake? suppose I cant put mushrooms in protein pancakes hahahaha
Lunch: probably mushroom related
d: more mushrooms lol
s: TBD
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your room: the calm colors, the light, the trim, the flooring, the built-ins. There is nothing that I don't love! Grim has such skill (and a bread-maker on top of that).
My daughter got a promotion yesterday in this midst of this pandemic while DS is unemployed, but living in my home. I am so thrilled for DD who is now officially in management (previous title was "lead"). She is finishing her MBA this year so she has worked hard for this.
I now have the cleanest condo since I bought the place (correction - it is cleaner than when I bought it). Today is a "rest" day. We have a zoom ****tail hour with SIL in Massachusetts at 5. We set that up as a weekly meeting to separate the weekend.
My pictures are one I took 5 years ago when walking the beach (makes me want to go home) and the other is SIL and I in our very stylish masks:
QOTD: I love my socially distanced morning walks and my other walks with Justice during the day. I love the amount of sunshine here (though not the heat). I love sitting on my lanai and reading.

Those masks are so cute :)
Congrats to your daughter--a promotion during this madness is a big deal. She must be doing great!
Please tell me more about this zero point pancake... ;)

The zero point pancake is one mashed banana with one beaten egg. Cook in pan with cooking spray. I put some Splenda and cinnamon in the pancake before cooking it and use a little sugar-free syrup (can you tell I have a sweet tooth?). Obviously you can vary the add-ins/toppings a bit but the banana and egg are the base (blueberries, strawberries, apples...).

Would you believe the last bananas I had in the house were taken by a certain someone to make banana bread (not the low point kind)?
