^^Actual photo of me.

Morning all! It's FRIIIIIIIDAAAAAY. And I have another 3 day weekend coming up! Massachusetts celebrates 'Patriot's Day', which is really Marathon Monday, but of course this year there is no marathon... so weird! Next week is also school vacation week. We are still keeping it as a week off for kids and teachers, but I think that principals will still stay busy, so I will, too.

Guess what? My treadmill is coming in a week! I scheduled the earliest delivery date for 4/27 :) Now I have to figure out how to get rid of the old one. That will be it's own special kind of workout, haha.

My pics this week are mostly of my new office space and progress on the built-ins Grim has done! They will be completely finished this afternoon, so I will post the "done pics" soon.

But I will start with a pic to prove that my Spanish lessons are becoming more useful:

Ok, office space: I don't have a desk, but I can sit in the chair or the sofa. It's comfy and since I am just on my laptop all day I don't really need anything else.

The new treadmill will go in the same spot, so I can make it into a standing/walking desk!

New built-ins! He's already built doors to match the ones in the pics below (which he built last year).

Built-ins from last year (right across from the new ones), on the opposite side of the room from my office area. I love them so much! I basically drooled over some pics on Pinterest and he designed and built the whole thing. I couldn't be happier with how they turned out.

Since the windowsill is my Zoom background 99& of the time, I am having some fun with it. Princess Bride figurines are hiding in the foliage.

My cats have knocked the poor Queen over a billion times...

Accountability: I had a piece of Grim's fresh baked bread right out of the oven last night. The good news is that he didn't like how it came out, so he threw the rest of the loaf out. The bad news is that he's probably going to make another one today since that one wasn't up to his standards. ...sigh...

QOTD: What are some of the simple, no-cost pleasures that bring you joy right now? I love my first sip of coffee in the morning, I love that my kitty has been sleeping right next to me in my new work space all day, I love walks on sunny days, and I really appreciate phone calls with people more than I ever have!

I finally got my chipotles, so I am going to try a version of Trish's tacos for lunch!

Good morning and happy Friday all! I've been really strict with my diet this week aside from getting into the peanut butter jar that one day and I've been working out more consistently. Weight is FINALLY starting to drop again! I am now 4 pounds away from being out of the obese BMI range...yay! Next goal will be to get out of the overweight range. Slowly but surely hopefully I'll make it!

QOTD: of course I have to say my kitty cat. He keeps me laughing and is always ready to snuggle.....well not always, but most of the time on his terms! Lol. He definitely brightens my day.

B: premier shake

B2: coffee w/Splenda X 2 or 3

L: turkey lunch meat and a cheese stick

Thanks, we (okay, he) put that window in a few years ago! That room used to be this dark, windowless, wood paneled room, straight from the 60s, and he made it so bright and beautiful :)
