Hello stranger!! Happy to see you here.
I hope your family and friend recoup soon. My SIL who is a nurse got it but recovered. Most people do, unless there is an underlying condition.
Stay safe and healthy.

Thank you. I find hope in knowing that so many brilliant minds all over the world are focused on developing effective treatments and, of course, a vaccine. The valiant efforts of the people on the front lines, their courage, awe me. It all is very humbling. Thanks for your kind comment.

Good morning, everybody!

It's a winter wonderland here. We got about three inches of snow last night and the world is coated in white. If this were December, I would be ecstatic. Unfortunately, it is April and I'm really ready for Spring! Liz, Hilary, Madison Rose, Erin, et. al. go ahead, and rub it in , tell me about your sunburns and overheated cars, walks on the beach and runs outside.

DD asked us to send her a dress for her senior year pictures on April 24th, so I think that means that she thinks that she will be able to leave San Antonio and return to Waco fairly soon. When the last of them stops presenting symptoms of the virus, they have to wait 72 more hours and then can go. It will be a relief when she can go back to her school.

QOTD: If I live in the 1970's musically, I live in the 1870's in terms of literature. The Brothers Karazamov is one of my all time favorite books and deals largely with the question of how do we determine right and wrong when we no longer share the same belief system. Still timely.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack: Protein Bar

Lunch: Turkey

Snack: nuts

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all!
