What's on your Sunday Menu, RNYers?
I have some N95 masks from a project where I was working in an attic with old insulation. I keep them in the car with a spray bottle of 91% alcohol and just put a mask on if I have to go inside a store. When I get back to the car I spray the mask with the alcohol and hang it to dry inside the car.
I had to pick up a prescription yesterday so wore my mask to go into the store and get it. Most people were wearing masks and practicing social distancing but I saw one group of five people with no masks clustered together and having a loud conversation. Idiots! I stayed far away from them.
It is such a strange and quiet Easter. No carloads of family and no Easter egg hunts in my neighborhood today. I feel in a Thanksgiving mood, thankful to be alive, safe, healthy, have everything I need, and able to see another beautiful Spring time.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
It has been driving me crazy all week. But I just did a test. I liked all the ones I wanted to then pressed the Top button on one of the posts and they seem to be holding (for now anyway).

Good Sunday morning.
I got a little bit better sleep last night but was up a lot still. I'm so exhausted. I'm wondering if I need to get my bloodwork done to check but alas it's not quite the right time to do that kind of thing.
We've already had our high of 63 at midnight and it's currently 39 outside. We have a chance of 2 inches of snow Monday night. Ick!
Qotd:I took a semester of French and I sucked at it. I want to learn Spanish but I'm just not very good at that kind of thing.

Good morning all and happy Easter to those who celebrate it! Was up way too late celebrating my brothers birthday last night. It was just a super small gathering of five of us including my brother. Had wayyy too much food and I'm so glad I ate light the rest of the day. My mom made my brother a cat cake (it's a family tradition since we were children) and I did splurge and eat just the ear of the cat which was basically two bites and oh my goodness it was so good! Took a video to send to my mom of him blowing out his candles since she couldn't be there. I was surprised that I still managed to lose another pound this morning when I stepped on the scale. I was so envious of my brothers girlfriend and my cousins girlfriend as they are both tiny little things and yet they can basically eat whatever they want and never gain a pound! I watched them both eat the huge steak dinner, big hunks of cake and then chips after and my cousins girlfriend said she was eating on a box of donuts on the car ride over! Oh how I wish I could be that lucky!!! Lol
QOTD: I wish I could speak a second or even third language. I took 2 years of Spanish and a year of French in high school, but sadly don't remember much. I did pretty good in Spanish, but French I did not do so well. I am currently trying to learn Spanish again through one of those language apps which has been fun so far and I'm slowly remembering bits and pieces. We shall see how that goes. Lol
B: premier shake
B2: coffee w/Splenda X 3 (my coffee I ordered arrived this morning and I'm sooo excited about that!)
L: might scramble me an egg or two
S: L&F yogurt w/banana
D: I need to eat that enchilada without the tortilla shell that I have in my fridge before it goes bad.

Mornin' All!
nothing on the agenda today. It's supposed to a cold week weather-wise but 50 F today, so I'd better get out and walk...
I overate yesterday. I was fine until the evening. Oddly, evening usually isn't my bad time (late afternoon is), so it kind of came out of nowhere. I think I was just bored. I managed to shove in 1800 calories by the end of the day and my weight is up a lb this morning - but that's probably salt and fluids. But anyway, I CAN'T do this again because I don't want to become a habit (and it easily could be since we're now home 24/7).
QOTD: I'm not fluent in anything. I love languages and have studied Spanish, French, German, Swedish, and Japanese. I studied Spanish and French the longest (in both high school and college) and can still sort of read it (you don't need to remember all the verb tenses or be able to translate every single word in a sentence - you just need to understand enough of them to get the gist of what is being said), but as for speaking it, no - that's long gone. I don't remember enough of the other three languages to even read a sentence.

B: well, it's already 10:30 and I still haven't eaten. I may just have my usual protein pancakes w/ plain Greek yogurt and blueberry compote - or else a piece of LIz's lemon blueberry yogurt pie - and call it brunch. I've already had my coffee w/ half & half
D: 2 TJ's turkey meatballs with homemade marinara sauce over veggie "pasta" (was going to have this last night but didn't)
possible snacks: L&F yogurt, piece of protein pumpkin pie or lemon blueberry yogurt pie, raw veggies with dip. Or maybe some air-popped popcorn. And I should probably have a protein shake sometime today.
have a great day, everyone!
