What's on your (PHOTO FRIDAY) Menu, RNYers?

Good Morning and Happy Fri-Yay! How's it going? I am feeling better than I was yesterday but it would be nice to be able to sleep past 3am on a day off during a quarantine, wouldn't it? I mean, its not like I need these extra hours to get my day going or anything... Jeez.

So yesterday I had a cough and a tight chest--definitely not what I want to feel right now! But I suddenly realized that combined with a few other things (namely, coffee tasting bad and uncontrollable hunger)... yep, I have GERD again! I hope it's not an ulcer--I really don't need that right now. But I took Omeprazole and about a half a bottle of Tums and feel a little better this morning. Coffee tastes better (YAY!) and my cough is not as persistent. So hopefully a few days of meds will kick it back down.

Accountability: Mostly good but still added that pre-bedtime "treat" that needs to stop. Also, I would give about a billion dollars for it to STOP RAINING so I could go outside for a walk. But alas--2 more days of strong rain and high winds.

Here's a random sampling of photos for your viewing pleasure:

First - playing around with a photo editing app.

Second: Quarantine Reading! Grim already upped his bread game by a billion. But I don't have enough fancy ingredients for any of the desserts in the first book.

Last, I came across a before/after to share:

QOTD: I know you don't miss your old body, but do you miss your old clothes? I do! I had some really cute plus sized fashion.

I am not posting a menu yet... I really need to take some time today to reevaluate my menu. I'm up 1.7lbs in 3 weeks and this can't continue! I want to try to figure out how to keep my points even lower since I am not getting enough exercise right now, but zero point foods are the fresh foods--meats, fruits, eggs and veggies, that I am running out of, so I need to do some intense planning in front of my pantry today. I should have a full weeks worth of menus planned and meals cooked by EOD!

Sorry to read about the GERD! I've been dealing with it as well. No fun. Hope the meds kick it out for you!

today I have to go pick up my prescription and my mom needs a few things from the dollar store. Not sure what but oh well.

I've yet to get more than an hours sleep so far. Hoping and wishing I can get a nap in later. I'm very sore. I splurged a bit this month as I had enough money to buy a Nintendo switch lite. I'm wanting to play animal crossing but it won't be here for another week or so. I got some free games and a mahjong game. I really shouldn't of gotten it but my mom went in half way too. It's turquoise colored and I do like it!

I'm trying to cut back on FB and I've already cut way back on instagram. I find when I'm bored I just browse for over an hour. Also trying to cut back on my news reading. I'm so sick of mr.cheeto man and his cronies. Plus it just seems to be all bad and it was bringing me down. I'm allowing a half an hour to read up for the day.

my pics are of my kittens...they are almost 6 and still act like kittens. Rotten as all get out!

qotd:sometimes I miss the clothing but at a 3-4x I don't very often. I still have a long ways to go to get to goal but I am able to wear prettier clothes now than before. Though I do wish I wasn't so long waisted! LOL

b:oatmeal, coffee creamer

s:yogurt with blueberries

l:real good pizza poppers

s:PP shake

d:1 oz seasoned ham and roasted broccoli & cauliflower mix.

might have a small piece of cheese to take with my Tylenol 4 tonight.

So adorable! I love their eyes!

I am trying to cut back on social media as well, but it's difficult. I need to be more disciplined. I find I browse before bed and lose track of time altogether!

Morning! I kept looking for the Saturday menu before I realized it's Friday. It's hard to be excited for an extra day off work when you know you're bound to be staying home. Today marks the end of the 4th week in quarantine for us and I know I'm getting sick of it because I'm feeling giddy about the idea of deep cleaning my house today.

QOTD: I will randomly remember a shirt that I used to love, but I've never been much for clothes and everything fits easier/better now. I felt like I used to have to search for things that were comfortable.

My Food:

  • Coffee w/ Cream x2
  • Eggs, Sausage, Cheese
  • Leftover Jersey Mike's Sub in a Tub
  • Either Pork Chops or Boneless/Skinless Chicken Thighs

Maybe Grim's baking isn't helping??? I rely on LOTS of zero point foods too. Perhaps shifting to frozen substitutes for zero foods would help?

QOTD: Nope, most of the clothing I spent money on while really heavy were suits for work. I don't miss wearing suits and I love the smaller clothes I have been able to buy. That was one of my incentives in losing my regain was getting back into the items I had invested in which didn't fit (lots of Lilly Pulitzer, Tommy Bahama and other cute stuff I love).

Picture from before WLS and one taken yesterday for my WW group (showing that I did put on something other than exercise clothing):

TSS: 4 years

B: Coffee! Eggs, beans, salsa and cheese

L: Sliced Ever Roast chicken and laughing cow cheese

D: Chicken parmigiana (getting takeout)

S: blueberry lemon pie and/or yogurt with strawberry compote and/or WW one point blueberry muffin

You look amazing,Liz! And I agree about the bread making. If my hubby were baking like that I would have to move out! Sweets are my number one favorite but home baked bread is a close second. I don't know what moderation is for either.
