Good morning JB and Menu Folks. I hope you have all been well. In the immortal words of Jerry Garcia, What a long strange trip its been. Both of my sons made it home, Ryley from Germany and Alex from Mexico and both have completed their self quarantine days with no fever or symptoms, temps taken and recorded for 14 days. I have been working from home, I have a great office in the house that I really never use, until this work from home period. I am no longer working from home , this morning my boss called and asked if I would work at the plant. We are ramping up to do hand sanitizer. Joddie has not had to work in the ER for 3 weeks as the patient census is way down, but is working 6 days a week with her M-F position, ensuring the Hospital employees are healthy and making phone call after phone call following up on tracing and exposure.

Question of the day - I have to pick two. #5 because I am a fan of Gordon Ramsey and #6 for Ellen.

Accountability - meh. I wont go into details , but am a long way from my goal. I now have a goal to lose 15 pounds if that tells you anything.

B - Ketone shake

L - Egg salad on a Low Carb bagel that I make - 6 net carbs for the bagel.

S - Slim jims x 2.

D - Left over Cabbage rolls

E - 30 minutes cardio and then P90

Last night Joddie and I went on a 8 mile Bike ride, wow, talk about using different muscles.

Stay healthy my friends, Mike

Good morning JB and Menuers,

Running late today because I made a Target Run before I came to work. Then I had to find a box to mail out some N95 mask to my friends Pregnant daughter. I only had 2 left so I thought she is definitely on the needs these masks list since she has Doctors appointments coming up.

Yesterday I scored some hand sanitizer that is hospital grade. I was able to get it to a bunch of customers but bought 4 for myself and donated 2 to our local Police department. They were 500ml so it wasn't like it was 2 4oz but the Chief was very grateful and DH is sewing masks for all the police. They have N95 for emergencies but do not have any walking around mask so that is what DH will be doing today.

QOTD: House # 4. It is the only one with a comedian in it. When I walk I listen to Bert Kreischer Bertcast so I am sure I would want a comedian on hand.

Everybody have a Great day.

Are you finding masks and sanitizers at regular stores or do you have special distributors?

I have been selling medical supplies nationally for the last 23 years for the same company. (Mostly wound care Ostomy and urilogicals.) We are a wholesaler. We buy directly from the manufacturers. I had 8 N95 mask at my house because when we moved in we were remodeling and used them so we did not breath in the dust. I remembered I kept them in the tote with all the paint stuff so when this started I pulled them out. The mask we get here at work are the 3m mask we currently are only distributing them to nursing facilities that are using them for there staff. Same with the hand Sanitizer but when we get these things in they go very quickly. If you know where we can buy them by the boatload I am sure the owner would happily purchase them.

Definitely -- in all times, what you do is critical! I think being able to make those connections makes things more fulfilling.

i sell technology and it has an impact across lives in different ways and we do a lot of work with our younger in their career colleagues to help them see those connections. They can see clearly now as we've helped facilitate the move to remote for so many of our partners.

QOTD: the house thing is tough each house has pros and cons. Dr Phil is dealbreaker in house 1, and Kanye West in house 3. 1 am between house 4 or 6.

Yesterday was meh. Drank like zero water randomly and no matter how hard you try you cannot drink 64oz at 11PM. Ha. Food was out of routine and random also. Scale responded and said WTF did you do yesterday? So have already drank 16oz water. I am blaming allergies kicking my butt for the weird day.

  • Protein hot chocolate, spinach frittata
  • chicken and veggie curry
  • whey and protein pancakes (post workout)
  • Fish tacos- never had them last night
  • S: pumpkin oatmeal bread, protein

Ex: Full workout planned for today with continuing mobility work.
And yes agreed do a virtual partner WOD on Saturday morning. Should be fun.
