What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
on 4/7/20 2:36 am
Morning all! Hope you all had a decent Monday. Mine was way busier than I wanted it to be but today looks like it will be super quiet, work-wise. In fact today is supposed to be the last day this week with decent weather so maybe I can slack off and go out to enjoy it, if things stay quiet? I am so sad that its supposed to rain for the rest of the week again. This rainy rut is really not helping my mood.
Accountability: Best day in ages. Followed my menu to a T, was a little active by doing some yard work, and I did not eat even a crumb of Grim's bread products. But I did end the night with 2 glasses of wine...
QOTD: Play along! Your Quarantine Name is how you are feeing right now + the last thing you ate last night. I am Restless Kielbasa. Haha!

Good morning and happy Tuesday!!
It's supposed to be 71 today so I'm definitely going to get in some time on the deck this afternoon; I need to finish my bookclub book for Thursday so this could be the day! Before you get jealous, Sunday it's going to be a high of 28 with snow.
qotd - exhausted cheese square
I am going to do the elliptical at lunch and maybe some stretching.
We are seeing good results from the safer at home orders; yesterday it was only a 5% increase in cases (and our testing as has been a consistent amount) so that's positive. Our governor says if we stay on this track he'll lift the order on the 26th. Fingers crossed.
menu today is
coffee plus half and half
carb master cottage cheese
4 oz ever roast chicken breast and .8 oz slice cheese
4 oz taco meat with 1 oz shredded cheddar
light and fit greek
pickle spear
Have a great day

I slept for real! Thank you A/C! I think getting it nice and cold in here really did the trick. It's going to be mid-80's until Friday so I'm insisting on it staying on until then, at least at night! My cat woke up at 4:30am by booping me on the nose, but I didn't have any wake ups before then.
QOTD: Refreshed blueberry
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream x2
- Egg, Cheese, English Muffin, Bacon
- Turkey, Cheese, Olives
- Pulled Pork. I ended up cooking chicken last night instead of the pork because I forgot to put it in the crock pot early. I will do that this morning!

Good morning everyone! Started this new workout routine yesterday I found on YouTube. Walking on the treadmill everyday was getting old and wasn't something I enjoy so I'm trying to switch to up. Yesterday my eating was really good even though I switched some things out on my menu, I still pretty much ended the day with the same amount of calories. I did end up having a handful of trail mix for a snack last night though, but since I came out under my calorie limit for the day I don't think it hurt me too much.....hopefully. I'm also trying to do better on my liquid intake. I drank more yesterday than I have in awhile....it's no wonder I couldn't stay out of the bathroom. I will try to do the same today. I think not eating anything past 8 pm is helping me too. It's a lot easier to do that now working from home.

Julia, It sounds like a typical Massachusetts spring. I feel like the weather is more yuck than nice in the spring there until the summer comes suddenly at the end of June. It is why I have been staying in Florida so long the last few years. This year I am staying because I feel safer doing that than going home (at least for now).
Yesterday we did nothing but lots of walks. Today we have some AC regular maintenance to be done. Tomorrow I think we will take a drive (unless the AC work is done early, then maybe today).
QOTD: Another good one. Bored banana muffin
TSS: 4 years
B: Coffee! WW zero point pancake
L: Sliced Ever Roast chicken and laughing cow cheese
D: Leftover chili
S: blueberry lemon pie and/or yogurt with strawberry compote and/or WW one point blueberry muffin

Another rainy start to the day here in Hot Springs, but it's supposed to stop by noon so Miss Lily and I should get our 2 walks in with no problem. Got the swings finished yesterday and I did some trim painting too. A bit more painting and new windows to work on today. QOTD peaceful pizza. Accountability was perfect yesterday both food and stepwise and even though supper was 2 small pieces of flatbread pizza I stayed in my calorie range. No snacks either or extra bites. Did better on fluids and need to continue that today. Weight today is 120. Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c cheesy broccoli soup D 4 oz of whatever protein hubby cooks. Hang in there and have a great day full of healthy choices everyone!
