Good morning, everybody!

I had a pretty great day, accountability wise yesterday and woke up to a 1.4 pound gain this morning. Vagaries of the game, I guess. Hopefully, it is gone tomorrow.

We haven't made any face masks yet. We live in the suburbs and only go out for coffee and the store once a week. But I'm thinking that we should probably do something before we go to the store this week.

Marilyn finished watching Mrs. Maisel and loved it. I finished reading volume 2 of Durant, but will wait until this week to start volume 3. I think that today I will strip and scrape that area on my back porch - provided that the weather is reasonably warm.

DD is sick of giving us coronavirus updates. All we got yesterday was "we chillin".

QOTD: It's hideous. Block printer here.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack:Nuts

Lunch: Bratwurst

Snack: Pizza

Dinner: Pork

Have a great day, all!

Good Sunday morning friends.

tough night for me. Woke up thinking blood or something wet was running down my left leg. Turns out the front of my leg was just numb/asleep. This is the second or third time that it's happened in a week and a half. Very funky feeling. It also almost made me fall but thankfully I caught myself before tipping.

i also had wild wild WILD dreams all night. Once including me getting thrown by a very tall tree that had laid down then threw me. Yeah...I don't get it either.

qotd:horrid...really messy.

b:oatmeal

s:l&f yogurt

l:hard boiled eggs and cottage cheese or Greek yogurt

s:PP shake

d:salmon and broccoli

Good morning, and Happy Sunday y'all!

QOTD - I do like my handwriting, although sometimes it can appear that it has MPD. My writing definitely changes according to what I am doing. For example, if I'm writing a love note to my husband in a card, it's very loopy and romantic, and I take the extra time for letter placement and alignment, etc. If I'm taking notes in a meeting, it tends to get very angular and boxy, almost like my letters themselves become little soldiers. I don't know how to explain it, but I probably have about 7 different handwriting styles.

Breakfast - Nothing, just hot earl gray and green tea. My stomach is on fire this morning, so no coffee. I did take some acid reducer so hopefully that starts to work

Lunch - Sad to say, I've been craving some spaghettios. I have a can of plain spaghettios, so I may have that with some chips and cottage cheese on the side. Something soft in my tummy

Snack -Fruit smoothie - frui****er, oat milk, chia seed, hemp seed protein

Dinner - 1/2 beyond burger cooked with onion, garlic, veggies and pasta on the side.

I hope everyone has a good Sunday!

Christina

Morning all. I apparently slept extra late this morning. Well I fell asleep on the couch first last night and then woke up with a sore neck in the wee hours of the morning and crawled into bed. No plans for today except for some house cleaning and maybe some reading. Oh and I too decided to learn some Spanish. Had a lot of fun on the language app I downloaded yesterday so I'll probably do another lesson or two with that today. Wouldn't mind learning French and German next.....of course I don't want to get ahead of myself here since I don't even know if I'll get the Spanish down pat first. Lol. Took both Spanish and French in high school, but remember very little and the French was tough!

QOTD: My handwringing is horrible!! I'll never forget in middle school when we had a substitute teacher one day, he came up behind me as I was writing a paper and asked if I had a painful hand or something? Ummm no, my writing is just plain bad! Lol. It has only gotten worse though the more I've used computers for everything over the years.

I went to Catholic school and one day had to fill the blackboard with perfect r's which took all of recess. I always think about that when I have to sign my name on one of those electronic pads that make my writing look so bad. With all that training I still want to make perfect letters and numbers, but it is so much easier to just use the computer.

Good afternoon, everyone!

I got up late this morning and made a big batch of protein pancakes - enough to last both of us all week (they're BY FAR the best the day they're made - but having some in the fridge ready to go in an instant is so convenient...). Otherwise I've just been catching up on the news and trying not to get too stressed out about it..

we went to one of the nearby state parks yesterday and walked on the trails for about 45 minutes. Hope to do it again today. It's nice to get out, and there are a lot of parks around here - state and otherwise, Fees for the state parks have been waived for the time being, so it's a great opportunity to check them all out, too.

otherwise, my brother who lives in NC will be coordinating a family video chat this evening (the rest of us live in Wisconsin). I don't really mind just group PM's, which we've been doing a lot of lately, but whatever.

accountability has been great the last couple of days - I've actually been eating below my calorie range!!

QOTD: If I take my time with it, I have nice handwriting - but I often don't have the patience and just scribble to the point that even *I* have trouble reading it. I can type about 10x faster than I can write, so I've become pretty impatient with how long it takes to hand write something..

TSS: 4y10m

Brunch: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt and blueberry/blackberry compote, coffee with half & half

S1: Fit Frappe

L (a late one, no doubt!): probably a cup of chili

D: maybe a Costco chicken skewer and a salad with light dressing. Or I might make fish tacos.

if I need other snacks, I have lots of raw veggies and L&F yogurts, so one of those..

ex: hopefully DH will be up for another walk!
