What's on your (PHOTO FRIDAY) Menu, RNYers?
Good morning, and Happy Friday!
this has been a tough morning. I spent the beginning of it at the vet with my little dog. He has been coughing and gagging for a few days. This is something he normally experiences because he is 11 years old he?s a small toy breed rescue and he has a collapsible trachea. Anyhow I knew it had gotten time to go see the vet. Now he has a newly diagnosed heart murmur, and he?s on medication for life. Thankfully after a chest x-ray was completed his heart is not enlarged. So he is on several medications and resting at home and momma is relieved!
breakfast - fasting
lunch - pizza bake (wheat toast, pasta sauce and vegan chao cheese) veggies
snack - fruit smoothie
dinner - gah! No clue. Probably something pasta, something veggie, etc.
have a great weekend y'all!

Forgot to answer QOTD - I'm not generally a hugger, and I don't think this situation has done anything to make it any better. But I do miss my mom, so I will hug her first.

I can relate to the stress diet, my dinner yesterday was Nacho Cheese Doritos and wine. Not a very wise choice and not much protein. My friend told me that alcohol sales are up 60%, 40% for beer, 60% for wine and hard liquor. I can vouch for the wine.
QOTD- I'm a hugger and I would hug my Mom, and my barn Mom I miss them both.
If the weather holds I'll try to get in a walk today.
Have a great Friday everyone!

hey everyone, late post for me again today- i forgot to log in til now lol...
i've been working from home most of the week and plan to continue this for a while until likely may 1 or until shelter in place orders are lifted. I finally got the rest of my staff hooked up with their WFH equipment today too so I am glad that is taken care of and hopefully everyone can stay home and safe for the next few weeks.
Story had a Zoom meeting today with her preschool teacher and a bunch of her classmates so that was super cute. I know she misses her besties and Joe and I are doing our best to spend more quality time with her whenever we're not logged in for work, and reading lots of books, drawing pictures and playing games. Its supposed to rain all weekend I think but right now the weather is beautiful so He's taking story for a walk right now to get in some fresh air and exercise while they can...I really hope I can get out there after I log out of my work stuff before it starts raining too.
I am in a FB group for fashion lovers and my style squad is all getting dressed up fancy for dinner at home tonight. My family is all going to participate and then post pictures to the group. I am pretty excited- I need a reason to get dolled up!
QOTD: I really miss my parents. They're still in Az and planned to return May 8th so not sure whether that will still happen or not. I haven't seen them since new years eve. I cant wait to hug them.

Hi everyone, I have been MIA for a while but I need some accountability as I am slowly slipping. I just had my two year anniversary of RNY. Was scheduled for skin removal and it was cancelled due to COVID. I have been slowly letting bad habits creep back in and now I am up 10 pounds. I never made it to goal and I accepted that. So now I am trying to go back to what I know works. Knowing what to do is not my issue. I can drop weight, it is losing weight and being able to sustain it. I lose 5 pounds and then gain it back again. I guess I have to find something in between. Anyway, I will be reading the history that I have missed and hope to be present and accountable. Tody was a good day eating wise. However evenings are my down fall. Why am I hungry at 2 am?
I would definately hug my grandbabies. Here is my 2 year before and after to remind myself it's not sooo bad lol..
Breakfast: Bulletproof coffee, pure protein bar
Lunch: 30 g of chedder, 4 Dukes pepperoni
Snack: 1/4 cup of mixed nuts
Dinner: Taco bowl (ground beef, chedder, sour cream, salsa) (about 4 0z usually)
Snack: Prob some Dill Pickle pork rhinds.
Have a great weekend
