What's on your (PHOTO FRIDAY) Menu, RNYers?
on 4/3/20 2:39 am
Hellooooo everyone! We made it to Friday. I am ready for the weekend, for sure! I am excited to get crafty and creative. It's time!
Work has been incredibly frustrating--lots of technical glitches with the remote system kicking us off every few minutes, and even more human error glitches on complicated shared spreadsheets. It would be frustrating at any time, but it feels heightened right now. Today should be lighter, though... I have to give a few back to back trainings on Zoom this morning, but no crazy deadlines. Yay!
We have one more day of pouring rain, but it's supposed to clear up for the weekend. I swear I am going to walk for 10 miles as soon as I can get out of here.
Accountability: I am now convinced that Grim is trying to fatten me up in case we run out of food. He baked two loaves of bread and another batch of English Muffins. I know I could have been stronger but who among us can resist warm bread straight out of the oven?? Not me, apparently. I didn't do any exercise, either.
Today's Photo Friday pics are of both pairs of my new glasses! I think I like the top pair, best, but I like them both and for $60 with the progressive prescription, I couldn't be happier!
QOTD: Who is the first person you want to give a big hug to, when this is over? I am a hugger, and I hug everyone, so... everyone! But mostly my parents :)

That is my kind of stress diet! Even though I'd be so sick after eating all that. Lol. Love your new glasses!!! They look very nice on you!

Good morning all! Yesterday I stuck to plan all day so I am doing a LOT better. Until last night when I had a handful of dark chocolate peanut m&m's that I did NOT need, but were calling my name....sigh. I keep telling myself since I ended the day under my calorie limit that a few wouldn't hurt me even though I know those few put me over since I was at the high end of my limit. Oh well....it was part of my stress diet which has no calorie limit apparently.

I love both pairs of glasses on you. Great deal!
The weather here in Florida stays wonderful under our stay at home order. I think I will sit in back of my condo in a bathing suit again today AFTER I change the smoke alarm batteries. I have changed several of them over the last year or so but at different times. I want to do them all at the same time and give myself a reminder to change them in a year.
We are still feeling that we are safer here but friends went home to Cape Cod this week. I don't think they wanted to end up stuck here for several months. I would not love it but would be okay.
My two pictures are of my "pets" from yesterday. One was viewed on our walk around the pond last night and the other is at the end of the day apparently exhausted from his multiple walks:
QOTD: I want to hug my DS! He calls me multiple times a day and I haven't seen him since early February. This year is the first when we didn't see each other near our birthdays in mid-March

The turtle was totally unconcerned. SIL thinks the gator opened his mouth way up to warn me not to get any closer.
