Good Morning. Feeling fancy this morning- I have 2 zoom meetings with my nonprofit today, so put a lounge top on that is not a hoodie and put a tad of makeup on so as not to scare them. Also blew out my hair. #winning

Food was better yesterday just because I kept to a schedule. Eating by a schedule is important for my BS and when my body has been fed correctly during the day not staring in the pantry at night.

As much as I feel out of control because of this mess, scale is actually down.

QOTD: I was making a stupid amount of bows for favors for some kind of shower with Lauren, My daughter-from-another-mother. We came up with a gadget to make them simpler to do and uniform... we said we should sell it to all the brides.

  • turkey ham roll ups. Tomato soup
  • Patmesan flounder, spinach
  • S: protein, greek yogurt

Hi everybody!

I had to look on the calendar to figure out what day it is. Trying to be upbeat but all the news are getting to me. The number of unemployment is scaring the heck out of me.

DH's company has offered to all employees (max 10 per employee) regular masks, even though everybody is working from home. Then yesterday they announced they are now offering the N19 (or whatever they are called) masks too. I told him to get them and we can drop them off at our local hospital. I would feel guilty wearing them, but we'll keep the regular masks.

QOTD: I live with somebody who invents things all the time. As soon as you say I wish I could do that he says I can make that for you. He has 5-6 patents that even when I read I have no idea what it is he has invented, some sort of computer circuit related. But we came up with something a couple of years ago, more at the level of my average IQ, and kept it hush hush until we were close to prototype. But somebody somewhere in East Asia beat us to it. I still haven't seen the product, that's why I can't say what it is, but we can no longer patent it because it's already there.

My meals have been a disaster. Every morning I get up with best intentions but by 10:00 am and seeing all that goes on in the world I just don't care anymore. I haven't worked out since Sun.

Wishing you all health and serenity.

Hi Sheila, I hear you :( I am having the same experience - hard to work out, gym is closed, news is distressing. Take good care of yourself, and I love that you are going to donate the masks to the hospital

Good morning JB and Menuers,

Congrats on the Accountability yesterday JB. Even though I am still in my office I have felt anxious and find snaking comforting so to be home and resist is awesome.

Ok My DH had had 2 back surgeries and is now again on medical leave with back issues since December. Back at the end of November 2017 he had his last surgery and when it was over he still didn't feel great and he got pissed off and said if their not going to help me I'm going to help myself. He worked very hard and got his weight under control and was exercising like champ. He got to the point he felt so good he was able to return to his Job(very physically demanding). As soon as he started back it all stopped. He had and excuse why he was not eating right he was too tired to exercise and of course it lead to him gaining all 70 lbs back and his back pain has come back with a vengeance. Through the holidays I reminded him of how good he felt when he was active and reminded him there is not pill that can make you feel as good as healthy not matter how many pills you take. OK so here we go starting In February after vacation he finally decided that being healthy was way better than where he was in life. I am proud to say he has lot 20 of the 70 lbs regain and I got me a walking partner. I am so proud I want to burst and we are really getting back to enjoying each other. I had to share this because anyone out there struggling if you put your mind to it you too can get back.

QOTD: I always wanted Pyrex to turn the handle upside down on there measuring cup so you could hook it on the inside of the bowl and let it drain out oil or whatever liquid was in in while you continued to do other prep for the recipe.

Accountability: I was awesome yesterday Also. But i did sneak a few Lilly's Chocolate chips.
