What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning, everybody!
I was all set to compose a long post about how I was convinced that my older son was the best social distancer in America (I know, you think its just parental bragging), when all of a sudden, he came downstairs, went for a ride in the car with his mother, and filled out his roommate application for college.
Today is supposed to be the beginning of spring weather with temperatures in the 60's throughout the ten day forecast. When I went out to get coffee this morning, there was ice on my car window, but it does seem to be warming as the sun comes up.
I had another good eating day yesterday, I feel like I am starting to get on a good track.
150 Burpees for time yesterday - 18 minutes 44 seconds. Basic but a good workout.
QOTD: Nothing really comes to mind.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: berries
Lunch: Tenderloin
Snack: Chomps
Dinner: Cod
Have a great day, all!

I am jealous of those burpees. I do modified ones but my leg/hip mobility needs improvement,

See how bundled up you are vs. the woman in the Hollywood Square next to you? That is exactly how I feel when i see people in shorts outside.

The theme of our meeting was: wear bright colors or sunglasses! (yes, our zoom meetings often have a dress up theme now...). She threw off her black sweater to reveal the neon tie dye shirt, but then regretted how freezing she was for the rest of the meeting.

So far we have had-- baseball cap day; crazy hat day; bright colors & sunglasses; and one week we all brought our breakfast to the meeting together. Monday is a team member's birthday so we are all going to have party decorations and treats :)

did you see this story from a couple of days ago where some supervisor was playing around with various photo filters and turned a picture of her face into a potato - and then couldn't figure out how to get rid of the filter and so she had to do a video conference with her potato head? I crack up laughing every time I see this (above). You could do some kind of theme like that. Although it might be kinda hard to get serious about a meeting if everyone keeps laughing...
