They have zoom links!

My leader is an older woman and we spend at least 1/2 of the meeting listening to her ***** about the technology not working, but it is 100% her skill set. I'm still attending, but it's not good at all.

I'm sorry yours aren't good - try another group! Mine are Port Charlotte Florida and are excellent (I do the 9:30 Thursday one as that is when I used to physically go). Both the leaders (Sonia and Terry) are terrific and they have a couple of additional staff paying attention to raised hands. Most of the people here don't know technology much, but the WW staff people have been excellent at walking people through it and most of the participants are quite happy (and some like it better than regular meetings).

They do them via Zoom. They work really well! I think this is the 3rd or 4th week doing it that way.

I want a robot that does windows!!! That is my least favorite chore. If you find a guy to make the duster can you throw in the window thing for me?

No (I am obsessive compulsive about clean windows) you got to clean the blinds and wash the drapes and steam the window seals scrub the screens. But since I am still working I used my husband to do it this year.

I just got my first robot vac last month and it is so nice to wake up to the whole house freshly vacuumed. Now I want a robot duster too. With drone technology, why wouldn't that be possible?

Morning! My days might be pretty much the same, but I'm still looking forward to the weekend where I can drink my coffee without taking it "up to work". I managed to score a Walmart delivery appointment for tomorrow evening and their stock isn't looking too bad, so hopefully I get at least 75% of the items I ordered. We've moved on to the point where I don't want to go anywhere if I can arrange a method not to. I need to go pick up a prescription through the drive-thru tonight and that's enough interaction for me. Today I have a work project to complete and I also need to write a paper. I feel really salty about needing to do school work right now on top of everything else, but I'm just trying to hang on until this semester is over and then I'll take a brea****il fall. I also got a note from my adviser saying it's time to apply for graduation. Which sounds exciting but I still have about 30 credits left to do and I don't take full time classes most semesters. But, once I get this stupid degree out of the way I can apply to take my PMP certification and then the world will be my oyster professionally.

QOTD: No, I'm the most unimaginative person on the face of the planet. I took a marketing class where we had to come up with a unique product to market and we "made" a snow-bot that was like a Roomba for snowplowing your drive way. It worked for the purposes of the project, but even I could see all the flaws, given I lived in a place where the thing would need to be the size of your house to actually move the snow.

My Food:

  • Coffee w/ Cream x2 (or maybe 3)
  • (2) Leftover Frozen Pizza Squares (look, I'm not wasting food right now, mmmk?)
  • Leftover 'Sub in a Tub' from Jersey Mikes (this is so good, btw - I had never had it until last night). I did the "club" and just added my own drizzle of ranch for dressing and I added Banana peppers.
  • Pork Chops and Veggies (since I didn't do them last night). I have some pork rinds to use up so I think I might look into breading them with those.
