What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?

Hello! It's the "Day Formerly Known as Hump Day!". How is it going? I got a lot done yesterday which felt great, but today is another day of straight video meetings. Ugh.
I realized yesterday that the virus is creeping a lot closer to my personal circle. I now have several friends who have friends or family who are sick, and one friend who lost her father to the virus over the weekend. It's still one degree of separation away from my own friends and family but it got a lot closer, quickly, yesterday.
Accountability: Still struggling. I ate my meals as planned, which was good, but keep adding snacks. I can at least admit that I am bored and not hungry, but I still don't know how to stop myself. At one point I was basically mainlining peanuts while watching tv.
QOTD: I read an interesting book a few years ago called "Consequential Strangers"--people like your dry cleaner, or that guy you see at the gym every time you go but you've never spoken to. It talked about the importance of these people who you see and "know" but don't have deep relationships with. It struck me the other day that we aren't seeing these people anymore! So who are the people who you don't really know but you miss seeing every day? For me-- I miss the security guards in the lobby of my office who always greet me with a HUGE smile, the Starbucks Barista at the drive through who is so enthusiastic about wishing me a good day, and I miss the train conductors on the commuter train who are so surly and angry that they actually make me laugh.
Good morning everyone! My eating was a lot better yesterday, but still not exactly where I want it to be. Today should be a lot better....hopefully!
QOTD: I miss seeing the greeter at the front entrance of the office building where I work who always is so cheerful early in the mornings. I also miss the busy cafeteria workers in our office cafeteria who got to know what you wanted to order without even asking you.

QOTD I haven't seen the Running Lady. She is probably still out, but I haven't been.
This is a woman I see running, at least once a day, every day, for the last dozen or so years. She runs on the main road I use to get to the highway, and she is always, always there. I saw her once in the supermarket, and I was tempted to say something, but figured it was too creepy.
