Morning Friends! Well, remember 48 hours ago when I was complaining that I was bored?? Not a problem any more! This job is so silly--I will go stretches with literally having to create work for myself and then bam--slammed. Well at 1pm yesterday the dam broke and I am underwater again. I don't even think I'm going to bother getting dressed today...I'll just hop over to my work computer when I'm done typing this, and dig in!

Accountability: More consciously in control than I was for the past few days. Not perfect but much better. And I jumped onto the bike a few times for what added up to be an hour. Again, not perfect, but not out of control. This evening I am going to see if I can set up my treadmill to be a slooooow walking desk by setting a piece of wood across the top as a work surface.

QOTD: Have you used the opportunity to reach out to anyone who you haven't talked to in a while? Do you have a list of people to talk to during quarantine? I made myself a list and I am determined to talk to someone outside of my normal circle every day. Yesterday I called my dear friend and mentor. She was one of my college professors and we are very close. It was great to talk to her for over an hour last night and catch up. I need to remember to do that more often. Tonight I have a zoom call scheduled with 4 old coworkers :) Yay! Won't it be awesome if quarantine brings us closer to old friends?

Morning! My remote hip appointment went okay. I was the doctor's first telehealth appointment, so I felt a bit like he was winging it. But, I really liked him and he wants to take much more conservative approach than the other two doctors and he does have more specialty in the surgeries I need. I have one more surgeon to speak to (hopefully) on 4/16. He's at a new hospital system so I'm awaiting them to send me my hard copy images before I will know if I can even have my appointment with him. Their suggestion was to show up at the hospital and request them, but that's a hard no right now.

QOTD: I had a Zoom call on Tuesday with my sister, cousin, and aunt. I talk to all of them via Facebook Messenger nearly daily, but it was nice to actually be "face-to-face" for once. I have given my kids a task item that they should call someone new at least twice weekly.

My Food:

  • Coffee w/ Cream x2
  • Eggs, Cheese, Sausage
  • Turkey, Cheese, Pickles
  • TBD, I'll pull something out of the freezer

It's finally supposed to be sunny and warmer today so I'll go for a walk on my lunch break.

Good morning everyone.

the zoom meeting with my psychologist went well! I really like her and I'm relieved she is already having me do things to start out.

I'm in a lot of pain this morning. It's why I'm up at 5:30. Also why I was up at 11:30, 2:00 and 3 something. I even took the doubled up Tylenol 3's. I'm going to drag through the day as I usually do.

I have body tremors in my hands, feet and jaw. They have gotten worse the past few months and all the stress. I'm also clenching my jaw a lot. It's getting annoying!

i know it's not Friday but I wanted to share a photo I took yesterday and one of my cats this morning.

qotd:not as of yet but there looks to be plenty of time to do so.

b:oatmeal

l:hard boiled eggs with a slice of cheese

Good morning! I feel like every Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday of the last few weeks I've been amazed that it's still whatever day it is; they are so long right now. For me it's not even related to isolation, it's just insane business!

QOTD - I'm making a point of talking to more people right now; many of my friends are introverts so I'm telling them "you must talk to me now, I need you", lol.

I got up and went for a walk and at 6 someone in the next neighborhood over is coming to borrow my standing desk during the shut down. Colorado starts lockdown at 8 today through 4/11 but my county starts at 6 through 4/17...and then I saw DC's runs through 4/27? I think everyone is just guessing at this point. I went through the list of what's "essential" under the Colorado laws and to be honest, I think the only things that didn't end up on the essential list are playgrounds, schools, spas, gyms, hair and nail salons....even gun shops are considered essential! Apparently they are all sold of of ammo though.

JB, your meme is an interesting one -- there are some things that as long as I have them in the house, I will not eat them but I feel deprived if I don't have them; but there are other things that if I have them in the house, I will eat all of them the same day -- I think I have a mix right now. I have more than everything I need so my goal is to not leave the house (except for exercise) or need anything delivered through 4/4.

Menu today is

4 oz ever roast deli chicken, .8 oz cheddar cheese slice

carbmaster cottage cheese and 1 oz almonds

4 oz hamburger patty, .8 oz cheddar cheese slice

2 oz pastrami snack

light and fit greek

half and half in my coffee

Hope everyone's Thursday is fantastic!

I know--I heard today that Joann's Fabric is essential? Ok sure. We are on a lockdown too, but I can't see exactly what it stops anyone from doing except hair and nails...and going to school. We haven't even closed too many beaches or playgrounds.

I made a panic purchase on the last day I went shopping (when shelves were bare in every aisle) and got a giant thing of Goldfish crackers. This little suckers are literally calling my name from the other room but I know if I open them I will eat them all in one sitting. I need to wait and open them when they are the last thing left to eat and there are no other options.
