What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Mornin' All!
I've been feeling congested the last couple of days, but I'm pretty sure it's just a cold (even though I've been taking my temperature a couple of times a day!). I'm feeling that sense of doom again this morning, but I know all this will pass. Sometime.
I have to take one of the cats to the vet this morning for his annual checkup and rabies vaccine. If it weren't for the rabies vaccine, they would have rescheduled him. No one is allowed in the lobby, so they'll come out to the car to get him and then I'll have to sit in the parking lot waiting for him. Ordinarily I could have run an errand while he was in there, but then, everything is closed. Hmmm. I guess I could listen to a podcast in the car.
Accountability was good yesterday, but no exercise. I HAVE to get some today. I've been feeling very waterlogged lately. I think some is sodium consumption, and some might just be from not moving much (??). At any rate, I don't like this feeling.
QOTD: escalators, coconut, chocolate, almonds (did I leave any out?). Boy I don't know - I'll say books or skates.
4 years 9 months out:
B: protein oatmeal topped with pumpkin yogurt and 1/4 C high fiber cereal, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: salad with diced chicken breast and light dressing
AS: crustless protein pumpkin pie - or else L&F yogurt
D: chicken salad (made with Greek yogurt) or else a chipotle chicken taco
have another exciting day at home, everyone!!

Good morning, everybody!!
I don't like to see everybody getting sick. I know that in most cases it will just be a cold or even less, but its still nerve-racking.
I'm now the proud owner of a 30 pack of toilet paper. We went to Costco yesterday, it wasn't crowded and they had plenty of paper. I saw a meme on my daughter's Twitter that said January 2020 - this is going to be my year!, then March 20 -using coffee filters for toilet paper.
We watched Uncut Gems last night. It was OK. We definitely liked Sharp Knives better.
I did my first at home workout from my gym yesterday. Four rounds of 40 Kettlebell swings, 35#, 40 step ups to an 18 inch box with 20 pound wall ball, 40 double unders, run 400. it took about 51:15. Set-ups with the wall ball were the second hardest part. The hardest part was averting eye contact with chatty neighbors.
I will have to go out of my way to talk with them today. But explaining that I was not jogging, but doing a workout for time would have only led to a prolonged discussion about what I was doing.
QOTD: Escalators, coconut, cars, beaches steak knives, Teddy Bears, books. Em - I've got nothing on yours, never tried either a pedicure or Netflix. My question - Ham, Spam, Lamb or Yam?
Pretty good day yesterday, need to keep it up.
Breakfast: sausage and cottage cheese
snack; protein bar
lunch: leftover tenderloin
snack: nuts
dinner: chicken
Have a great day, all!
