Good morning and happy Friday all! My cat is so happy I am home as well! He has very bad separation anxiety. He has started sneezing a lot recently though and I feel so bad for him. I just took him to the vet last Saturday and he was 100% healthy and then a couple days later he starts sneezing a lot so I'm wondering if he picked something up from there. He does get these sneezing fits about once a year though and they normally clear up on their own. So fingers crossed this clears up soon! I'm not too worried since he's still eating and drinking as normal.

QOTD: Board games, adult coloring books, arts and crafts (if you're a crafty person which I'm not lol), cleaning and organizing the house, sewing/knitting, talking on the phone with friends/family, playing with the cat, gardening etc.

Good Morning! Happy Fri-yay! Trying to take 5 mins to not be on the phone. JB- I can send you some conference call details so you can listen and recap them for me -haha. I am hopeful that things get settled down a bit as everyone gets situated at home. With my teams roles we basically have to be last out. I'm so drained but we will get there! Luckily, John hasn't been too busy with work stuff yet so he's been doing everything else!

Good Friday morning everyone. Long hard night and I'm exhausted. I really should be used to it by now.

i was told it's almost certain my surgery will be canceled. I'm super stressed. The NP put me on Tylenol 4's starting on the 23rd and I'm to double up on the T3's until then. I'm tired.

qotd:I'm drawing a blank on this one. Good suggestions so far!

I'm thinking that I'll be making some chicken soup for dinner. I had a shake for breakfast. I've got no clue what lunch will be. Maybe a piece of the crustless quiche I made last night.

Me the other day versus an internet cat & how I really feel.

G'morning all!

Happy Fri-yay! Although it's gonna be hard to distinguish between the week and the weekend! The weather has been nice-ish here but with the shelter-in order you don't see many folks out. On the other hand the gyms being closed you see some folks running. It's weird, not many regular folks on the streets - unless they are walking their dogs, but tons of athletes who are full of pent up energy.

QOTD:

  1. I was thinking of this yesterday while I was doing my strength training routine. More than willing to share my weekly routine with you guys. My trainer changes it every week and we have adapted it to work from home, so no gym equipment as long as you have a couple of dumbbells. (10,12,15 depending on how heavy you wanna go up). One warning is that I hurt my shoulder about 3 weeks ago so we don't do much shoulder (no push ups, or planks, etc). Let me know if interested and I can post my routine on Mondays for the rest of the week. You do the same thing 3 times a week and on alternate days you do cardio for 3 days.
  2. Speaking of cardio my daughter told me about this and I loved it. Do you guys remember the wii just dance? Now they have them on YouTube without the need of all the equipments. You just follow the moves on the screen. It's so much fun. I tried the waka waka (shakira) yesterday just to see how it is and it put a huge smile on my face. Dance party in your living room.
  3. I have been inspired by an acct on IG called riorganize. She does all the celebrity pantries and kitchens. So I'm on a mission. Have already riorganized my pantry. Most of her stuff is bought at the container store but you can also get them on Amazon.

What Jim said about at home attire reminded me of a couple of weeks ago. Back story: I've always had curly hair. My dad used to call me Medusa in the mornings, so you can imagine how my hair was. For the last 10-15 years I have straightened my hair chemically (practically the opposite of a perm - called Japanese conditioning). Xmas time my daughter convinced me to go back to curls. I need to let the straight part grow and cut it slowly unless I wanna get a buzz cut. So I'm back to Medusa in the mornings but with some parts of it being straight. I save you from actually showing you the hair, but this is my shadow at coffe time.

And truth be told this could be me from the front!

My meals yesterday:

  • B: Protein coffee
  • L: 3 egg thins + 3 oz rotisserie chicken (chicken burrito)
  • S: 1 hb egg+ 1 chicken skewer
  • D: TJ stir fry Cauliflower rice sautéed & 2 eggs (Chinese fried rice)
  • E: 15 minutes cardio+45 minutes weight training

Happy Fri-yay, everyone.
