What's on your *Thursday* Menu, RNYers?

This is something that makes me nuts. I have friendships that have made it through a lot of different political opinions but a coupe years ago when the school lunch shaming was in the news, apparently that was my line (I've found a few more lines since then, tbh).
I hope that this drives more awareness and let's us move to something better. No child should be hungry, period.

In our area there are getting volunteers to take food and deliver to kids. It still require people to sign for that and admit they need help.
Some are just too proud and they will not do that even if that means the kids are hungry. Others, even though they don't need that help feel entitled to free food for kids.

Here if parents go in the morning they are given 3 meals for each kid in the car. We may go tomorrow as our field trip of the day. They bring it to your car.

The subject line says "Tuesday" which confused me for a minute. LOL!
More and more is getting closed down here, including more beaches. But my county and the one north of me are still open. We went yesterday, stayed way spaced out from others and didn't use the bathrooms so I feel like that was fine. I have to feel that fresh air and sun have to be somewhat beneficial.
DD arrives today from Massachusetts for 10+ days. We may try the beach with her tomorrow before they close down.
We came up with a project for the next couple of weeks: taking all the blinds down and scrubbing them. It is overdue and will keep us busy.
QOTD: I guess I live in the present mostly right now. I have never safely been able to live in the past. Sometimes I would have hope for the future, but right now I can't think of that either

Ha--see I told you I didn't know what day it was, lol. Fixed!
I think I have the ingredients for this except for the mushrooms! I might make a modified version tonight.
