Good Monday morning.
not feeling all to well today. Stomach is upset and all knotted up. Kind of went off the rails last night so I'm sure that's part of it. My nerves are also shot. For lots of reasons.
qotd:thrift store.

l:PP shake
d:not sure

Good morning, everybody!
Marilyn came home last night at about 12:30. They actually won the trophy at the tournament, so are quite excited. This morning, she is back off to tennis.
Even though I was home at the end of last week, this week feels different. That just felt like working from home as the rest of the world went by on its normal course. Now, the boys are off of school, my daughter is still at her friend's parents from extended spring break. And it's starting to feel like this may be longer than just a couple of weeks.
I did the Annie workout on Friday night, to put my burgeoning double under skills to the test. It took 23 minutes , but I made it through. All of the sit-ups were in unbroken sets. The double under? Not so much. But I will keep practicing. I do find that I am hitting my head less frequently.
QOTD: The gym and coffee. Fortunately, our gym owner is maniacal about cleanliness.
Breakfast: sausage
Snack: Orange
Lunch: ham
snack: nuts
Dinner: TBD - maybe corned beef
Have a great day, all!

Mornin' All!
I have no idea what I'm going to do today - or for the next month. I guess spend an hour cleaning and probably read or watch NetFlix. I also have to go the pharmacy sometime today and pick up my prescription since the CDC recommended having at least a 30-day supply of your prescriptions. OK. I also need to go to a pet store and buy a bunch of cat food in case they end up closing, too (which they already might have). We don't feed our cats grocery store cat food, but we might have to resort to that if the pet stores are all closed. Whatever. We'll make due however we can.
accountability was great yesterday. I'll shoot for that again today. Being home all day can be a challenge, though, with snacking. I used to leave the house if I felt a snack attack coming on. I have some popcorn kernels so I can always munch on air-popped popcorn. I may go over and buy some grapes and raw veggies. Or I can go for a lot of walks, too (which I should do ANYWAY since the gym is closed until further notice - BAH!)
QOTD: I'll miss being able to leave the house. I can't stand being cooped up in here for more than a day or two - but I was in all day yesterday, so so far, so good.. Given the situation, I may be fine. I don't want to go out if that means risking my - or any else's - health or life!
4 years 9 months out:
B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt and apple/cranberry compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: 2 Costco chicken skewers - and maybe a small side salad (although usually I'm pretty full after the two chicken skewers!)
AS: L&F yogurt with raspberries
D: hmmm....I don't know. I have turkey meatballs and some Real Good enchiladas in the freezer, so maybe one of those
have a great day, all!
Good morning. Accountability was a little bad this weekend, but other than a box of Hot Tamales I was good. I can't get stressed over what's going on and need to stay focused. I had a training session Saturday and most of her clients cancelled saying they were staying home for the next month. One husband ratted out his wife by saying she was just sitting on the couch eating everything (and not carrots), saying she can't even go outside for a walk. Can't live in fear - just need caution. My barometer to how bad it is - Woodman's the giant grocery 1 mile from me - I pass it everyday. On my way to the gym at 5 or for work at 7:30 usually sees about 50 cars in the lot at most. The last 5 days the lot is packed at even 5:15am - that's about 400 cars or more. The employees posted a picture pleading with people to stop abandoning carts. They had over 500 abandoned carts this weekend full of food. Apparently the average register wait time was around 4 hours once you got in line. We aren't even a super hot spot yet.
QOTD - I miss not worrying about my retirement portfolio (wishing I could go back when I asked myself if I should shift stuff back in late February and saying - nah). I also miss laughing. I tell a joke and people give me - THIS IS SERIOUS STUFF REACTION. I'm not joking about the virus, just about normal stuff in life. Also, I have to deal with a virtual therapy session tonight - really, you can't even sit with me one on one. That's too much fear. But other than serious stuff like that, I miss the end of the HOCKEY season - just when the Preds had a slim shot at a playoff spot. Oh well. Enough. Hey everyone, be safe and healthy and don't use this crap as an excuse to go off the rails. When it's over you don't need your own health crisis to deal with, plus eating crude only lowers your immune system.
PWO - 1/3 of Premiere Protein drink
B - 2/3 cup oatmeal with berries
S - 5 oz Fage and some fruit
L - Small salad, chicken, some mandarins
S - Apple
D - Salad, turkey chili
My wife bought a ton of fruit. Apparently, no toilet paper, but a ton of fruit. Now I have to eat fruit to keep ahead of it spoiling ;)

we have Woodman's up here in southern Wisconsin, too. Just got back from there. Normally I go around this time (mid- to late-morning on a weekday) because the only people in there at the time are a few retirees, but the place was SWAMPED this morning. It was like a Saturday afternoon. It took awhile to even find a parking space. Egad...
G'morning everybody!
Remember me? I feel like I've been under water for a long time. I've been cancelling event after event since mid Jan (I work with a lot of folks from Asia) and when it hit US started canceling conferences here. On Fri I cancelled all the way through the end of May. At first it was rescheduling a lot of them but it got to a point that we just cancelled. Anyway that had been my life for the last couple of months.
On top of that, add the fiasco in Italy and my worries about my mom who is in the risk group. With everything shut down had to send a power of attorney to my brother for bank accounts but they wouldn't take a pdf. So the day all flights from Europe stop I go to Fedex to send a doc. Still crossing my fingers that cargo goes through and my docs arrive in Italy.
My sis is in U.K. (Wales) and she is an ICU nurse so on the front lines when it happens there. Of course with Johnson's way of dealing with the virus it will be a mess. I keep telling myself all is good. My family is OK. But then last night I had a weird dream that I was leaving for Italy. I check in my bag and then get a call from my sis that everything in my suitcase is broken. I had the suitcase full of china plates. She was upset with me that I hadn't started the trip and they were all broken. I woke up with a scare and so grateful it was only a dream.
Stateside except for work all is relatively good. DS's school shut down for a total of 3 weeks. We shall see what happens after spring break. DD is in the same boat in DC. I'm bummed for both kids because they are both sr and they might miss their graduations. DH has been working from home the last week or so, so we are all hunkered down.
QOTD: I'll miss my gym. They closed first the classes then the whole gym. So while everybody was running around buying TP and can goods I was driving around looking for dumbbells so that I can do my gym stuff at home. Cardio days I'm still going for runs in the woods. Recently I have seen more people doing that.
Find of the month: While I was "gone" I found these Egg-thins At Costco. Has anybody tried them? They give me more of a feeling I am eating a burrito when I wrap them around my turkey slices. Really good and yum.
My menu will be pulling out the stuff from the bottom of freezer and start there.
Have a great Mon. If you are out, stay safe!
PS- what's with this new version of OH? Looks so weird!

So good to see you Sheila! Have you been watching the videos of the Italians singing on their porches? I love those.
Same boat with graduations, as you know. And my Niece is a Nurse in Washington state - but I found out this weekend that she hasn't had any cases in her hospital yet.

Haha! I've seen them all, my feed is full of them. But then my cynic brother sends me a video of a father daughter fighting on the balcony and tells me "THIS is the reality of being cooped up in the house!"
Hoping both for your niece and my sister to stay safe.
