I had gathered from your posts that you are very busy with work in a high contact job and lived out that way ... was wondering how you were doing. Please keep us updated. I know your healthy efforts will pay off. I hope things stay well for you guys.
Welcome to the crazy weekend! I was at the store at 6:30 am. No TP, but I got some backup facial tissue, and food is still plentiful here in Florida. We went out to lunch with friends yesterday and are doing the same today. DS who is Executive Chef at a country club on Cape Cod said they only had 8 people last night. Two weddings and several bereavement luncheons have been cancelled. DD is on work from home indefinitely starting Monday. Assuming her plane still flies she plans to come to Florida as planned on Thursday but stay longer than the original 4 days and work from here. Unbelievable!
QOTD: Watching TV is my mindless activity. Otherwise when I sit still I read or poke around on my iPad. I used to knit (many years ago) but have arthritis now.

Good Saturday morning menu friends.
I had a rough night. It started with having a big ol ugly cry before I went to bed. Just entirely stressed. Our hospitals here have visitor restrictions put in place. Not I think it's a bad idea but I'm stressed to heck & back about them canceling my surgery. Ugh. No cases here yet.
not sure of the plans for today. We have to take some stuff to the thrift store. I'm exhausted and in a lot of pain. Hoping for a nap lol.
qotd:I usually play mahjong or bejeweled on my iPad.
b:PP shake & one cup of frozen strawberries. Oh and S.F. creamer.
l:homemade beef stew & reduced fat cheese
d:cod and 4 coconut shrimp(that may change)
s:popcorners protein crisps, small bag of light popcorn

Hang in there, I'm sure the stress is high but cancelling visitors is smart - and if they aren't yet cancelling things that's a good sign. When are you scheduled? Have you asked if they can move it up? I don't know this but I suspect that some people may be canceling things if they can.

I'm scheduled for April 15th. I'm also supposed to be on the list to get in if someone cancels.
if they do cancel I know there is a reason. I'll just have to deal with the pain as I already do.
thanks!

Good morning, everybody!
You know how you kind of know things but they aren't at the forefront of your mind? I just realized this morning that my niece is a nurse in the Seattle area - basically working in the front line of the epidemic. She is about 25, so I am sure she will be fine, but I'm still worried about her. I guess it will be quite an experience for her to tell about.
Things seem to be changing quickly around here. Both boys will be off from school until April 6th. They don't seem to feel strongly about it either way. They are going to continue to have meals available for kids who need them, which I was happy to see. My work has gone to a stance of encouraging people to stay home and and telecommute. DD was already going to college remotely until April 6th. Both races, and dueling piano night are cancelled, Mass is cancelled tomorrow.
Marilyn is still in Arizona playing tennis, but I think that some of the ladies are getting anxious to return home. Or so they say:
Today I have to do a little cleaning, go to the gym and then I am going to go pick up my shirt from the 5-K that was cancelled today.
QOTD: I spend a great deal of time trying to make the remote work. I push and push and usually have to set it down once and come back to it. Sometimes I do may short pushes, sometimes long ones. Sometimes the volume increases dramatically while I am trying to turn the TV off.
Breakfast: ham and cottage cheese
snack: protein bar
lunch:maybe no-carb jambalaya
snack: nuts
Dinner:tenderloin
Have a great day, all!

Qotd - I think you had recommended it and I got addicted to playing Best Fiends to the point where I gave up iPad games for lent. It was really cutting into my reading! I twitter surf while watching TV or read, but I really need to do more reading and less twittering.
