Good morning, everybody!
I managed to get the boys out of bed and off to school on time. They aren't that cheerful in the morning, and there is a protracted process of preliminary notifications that is time to get up, second reminder, etc. But everybody is off to school with a lunch for the day.
I was supposed to run a 5-K this weekend but it got cancelled because of COVID-19. I am scheduled to run an 8-K next weekend in Chicago, but that hasn't been cancelled yet. We actually got a hotel room in the city for the race. I am kind of torn about whether I want it to go on or not, without having the 5-K to warm up with. I guess the smart thing is just to do 5-K on my own this weekend and see how it feels.
DD got word that she should spend an extra week on Spring Break and then will do online classes for two weeks when she returns. This is her last semester and only 9 credits, so she isn't really worried about the school work, but is disappointed not to be able to spend all of her last semester with her friends.
Today, I have a doctors appointment that may require bloodwork, so I am fasting for that.
QOTD: I know a few. I don't think that I enjoy phones as much as other people do. For example, my daughter is horrified that I don't have her saved as a profile my phone (favorites or friends, I think?). I only have one phone for work and personal and every time I have it in my hands I feel like I am working. There will always be an email that needs to be answered.
Breakfast: none
Snack: protein bar after bloodwork
Lunch: Tenderloin
Snack: Pudding
Dinner: tenderloin
Have a great day, all!

Good morning, and Happy Friday Eve y'all.
QOTD - My mom's number, my gramma's number from when I was a kid, my cell phone and hubs. The rest of people I'm screwed.
I'm struggling today with lots of anxiety and stress. Watching our fearless leader speak last night really did a number on me. I'll be ok, it's just the overwhelming hugeness of our situation. Yesterday, same time as now I was fine. UGH.
Breakfast - none, fasting. Hot tea and topo chico
Lunch - Homemade curry tofu with rice and veggies
Snack - Smoothie -frozen frui****er, oat milk, chia seed and hemp seed protein
Dinner - Vegan pizza, if I'm hungry. We have the kiddos this weekend, and that's a wonderful distraction. Our boy just turned 15 yesterday!
Have a great day y'all!
Christina
Let it begin with me.

Morning! Things are, as expected, still crazy/on fire around here. They made the official announcement that we'll be going online for the "foreseeable future" which we all take to mean until the end of the semester at this point. We're gearing up in IT to field all the questions from faculty who aren't used to teaching online. We had a briefing this morning where we were pretty much told that they want us on campus for as long as possible before everyone is sent to be remote.
QOTD: I remember phone numbers from childhood really easily. Now, the ones I have memorized are - Jon's, my brother and sister's, and one of the kid's - the other just got a number in December and it's in our new area code so I'm still working on it.
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream x2
- Yogurt, granola, blueberries & strawberries
- Turkey, Cheese, Olives
- I think I'm making the family Shepard's Pie but it's not my thing so I'll grab something quick, probably.

Good morning JB and Menuers,
Showed DH the post of his Yoda Koozeys and he was thrilled to death. Glad you are enjoying them.
Well Pittsburgh's Saint Patrick's day Parade has also been canceled along with tons of other crap. I just hope everybody stays safe and this passes quickly. If I am stuck in my house with My DH for more than 24 hours someone might die. My office here at work is my safe haven hope we won't be working from home anytime soon.
QOTD: Just my mom's cause it is the number I used as a child. And the eye doctor cause the last 4 digits are 2020 so not hard to forget.
Accountability: I ate a bunch of pork rinds and had an extra coffee the Gloria jeans toffee coffee and I skipped the gym. Work was crazy and I needed to just get home.

Good morning.
well...the address to the nation was quite the dumpster fire last night...ugh.
I'm worried my surgery in April will end up being canceled. No cases here as of now but...the unknown is scary. I'm in so much pain I don't know if I can wait more than I already have to. Just so many factors to worry about.
qotd:my grandparents which is our current number and my aunts. Oh and 867-5309....hahahahaha.
Mornin' All!
the universities and colleges around here are all going online after spring break as well. Meetings and sporting events are being canceled left and right. My adult education class, too, has been canceled. And pretty much all of the lectures I registered for. Part of me thinks this is an overreaction - but I guess it's worth it if it slows the virus spread down (I've read it won't necessarily stop it - but it'll slow it down enough that the health care system won't be overwhelmed, like it currently is in Italy. Makes sense...). At any rate, this whole thing has me stressed out. Not that I'll get the virus - I anticipate that if I do, it'll most likely be a mild case - but just having everything up in the air like this. I don't like all the unpredictability. I'm feeling very...unsettled. Not a good feeling.
QOTD: I used to be GREAT at remembering phone numbers, but with cell phones, I don't remember them anymore. No need to, really. I know DH's number, but no one else's in my immediate family. And none of my friends.
I'm going to a luncheon today, but that's it. The adult education class I was supposed to have this afternoon is, as mentioned above, cancelled. Maybe I'll go to the gym...if they don't end up closing THAT, too!
4 years 9 months out:
