Good morning, everybody!

JB, that drink cozy is super cute. I guess that I am glad you are back to your normal level of stress although I suspect that is still high.

Marilyn's flight is delayed, so she is not leaving until mid morning. I have to get my oldest son off to school, but she can take my youngest in. I'm not sure if my oldest son is really sick or if this is Senioritis, but he only has two months of school left. I actually have a ton of calls to do between taking the boys to and from school.

There is also a tenderloin that I need to cook - Marilyn will have to show me what to do before she heads off to work.

QOTD: About a 3. Physically, part of me just wants to get the illness and get it over with. It really doesn't sound that serious for healthy people. I am worried about the hourly workers who will not be able to work due to closings, etc. And trying not to look at my brokerage statements, ugh.

Breakfast: ham and cottage cheese

Snack: Protein bar

Lunch:Tenderloin

Dinner: Tenderloin

Have a great day, all!

I am worried they will close the gym. That is my motivation to stay active. I figure I pay so I need to use it to get my money worth. Plus all the good looking men make it way more tolerable then doing the treadmill in my basement. I forgot about the 401K part yeah that is a bit scary I change my number to 4

My parents pulled every penny out of the market about 3 weeks ago. My cousin who runs a billionaire NY Hedge Fund told her she did the right thing... Yikes, right?

Good morning. I'm seeing a specialist today for my back. I think I might have a cracked rib. Life is really uncomfortable with little good sleep. However, I'm holding steady on the program and down well below my pre-vacation weight from a few weeks ago. Hopefully something I can treat with some exercise and meds, but we'll see.

QOTD - I'm shaking my head as I type this, as I'm sure some will think I'm nuts. I'm going to rate it a 2 (equal to the flu concern). I'm a bit of a germiphob (sp?) already, so I'm not doing anything different. You all are just doing what I do daily. The fear of the unknown is remarkable to watch. I think this virus is just a bad flu-type strain. I wouldn't want to get either and there is no vaccine yet. Sadly the news is just creating a wildfire (I can't believe I'm agreeing with the President on this one). If the news tracked the worldwide flu cases and deaths like this - we'd all be paralyzed each year. The main thing about this is that it does impact the respiratory system more severely, so anyone with underlying comorbidies really has to be careful, but they do with the flu too. If you project the flu curve onto this condition, we are only half way through the growth curve in the US. I suspect we won't see things drop until mid to late April. So hunker down and good luck.

PWO - 1/2 cup of Premiere protein

Mornin' All!

I'm going to see the person I'm the legal guardian for this morning, then I'm supposed to meet this elderly Japanese woman for lunch to discuss this trip she wants to make to Japan this time next year with a group of friends (including me - and she wants me to help plan it), but I haven't heard from her yet on the meeting time, place, etc. Personally, with this pandemic scare going on, I don't think many of her friends are going to want to commit to an overseas trip at this point, even though it's a year away and things will likely be OK by then, but...we'll see. I'm just not expecting a big response. And I'm personally not sure I want to go, pandemic or not, because I've already been to Japan twice and have a lot of other places on my list that I want to see before I kick the bucket... Otherwise, not much going on today, which is a huge relief because I've been feeling really overwhelmed the last couple of days. I'm a bit overcommitted, and there are too many projects that need to be done RIGHT NOW for these organizations I'm in. At least one of them will be done & over with on Thursday.

QOTD: Maybe a 7? I'm not worried for myself because if/when I get this, it'll most likely be a mild case (and like Jim, I almost wish I'd just get the damn thing so it'd be done and over with), but I'm obsessing about my trip to Italy, and people with compromised immune systems (like mother mother and MIL), all these cancellations and the unpredictability of things in general these days, and my money (I'm not going to look at any of my accounts for awhile for fear of having a heart attack...). I'm just not comfortable with things being unstable and unpredictable for this length of time - and for the foreseeable future.

accountability was great and I exercised a lot yesterday, but my weight is up 2 lbs from last week (I only weigh once a week now). It's gotta be salt because I could NOT have gained two "true" pounds in the last week. If anything, it should be down a bit... I'll try again in a couple days just because this seems a bit...odd.

4 years 9 months out:

B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt and blueberry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: if anything, a protein shake

L: I"m not sure because this lunch out seems a bit up-in-the-air right now. If it's a go, I'm guessing a sushi roll since this woman likes to go to Japanese places. If I'm home, then maybe a couple of Costco chicken skewers

AS: L&F yogurt

D: pulled chicken with BBQ sauce

have a great day, everyone!

Yeah I am with you--I am not anxious about my own health, I am worried about my elderly parents, and uncertainty abut travel and economic instability, etc. I can control my own health (to a point) but I can't control the world economy...

Good morning JB and Menuers,

Glad you like the Koozy JB. DH has been off work with back problems and bored and crocheting is his thing so ta dah. Yoda Koozys. I sent one to Jen too since she is such a Yoda kinda gal.

QOTD: I am at about a 2. I am definitely more conscious of hand washing and things of that nature. I wash my hands before I go onto the gym floor and after I come off so I guess it is just courtesy. Other then that I have not changed to much. However DH sits and home and watches the TV and definitely is running on an 8 right now. Thanks to the TV we now have over 100 rolls of TP. At least it is Charmin, it does not expire and it was on sale.

Accountability: Peanuts and figs . I believed I was doing well till I weighed this morning. I will have to actually start weighing and measuring my food. I am guessing this eyeballing it just isn't working anymore.

TSS: 2 years 2 Month 29 days 137 (lowest 130.8)

CB: Dark roast coffee with SF ID Caramel Macchiato w/Miralax and Fiber

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and my blood work has been good. My B12 has been High so I cut my sublingual to every 3rd or 4th day. And I have now added 500mg of Magnesium
