I travel a lot - I do have a scale at my sisters since I am there a lot but outside of that, I look for pre portioned things if I am away from home. Sometimes pre portioned isn't available and I do the best I can.

Stalls are normal so you don't really need to panic at 1.5 weeks, but since this is not your first surgery, you also know that the first 6 months are a magic time in WLS. It will never be so easy to be on a diet again, so my advice is to stay under 600 calories a day, and weigh and measure everything to be sure--guessing can be the difference between hundreds of calories a day. One slice of deli cheese is around 110 calories, so it's easy to be mindless and have a second slice but it can be the difference between losing or not at any stage.

Thank you Juniper,

i was starvng when i got home not sure why, but anyway i kept kool my dinner i stated for tonight was going to be salmon for me and my boys husband and son(19 ) wanted shrimp alfredo. so shrimp was out thawing since this morning and i had everything on counter set up to make when i got home..i know both meals would be prepared in 30 minutes...well i decided to make the alfredo with linguini, season and cooked the shrimp. while waiting for the pasta to finish boiling i started my salmon and im sipping on water cause im starving..so prepared salmon and put in oven and decided that im not waiting for salmon im hungry now.. so i took 4 shrimps out of the skillet and ate them slowly while finishing up the pasta .. my shrimp was so savory omg.. i thought i was going to go and steal 4 more from skillet but i didnt.. i actually got full..now what the salmon is cooking i guess i will have it for lunch tomorrow or breakfast..

before i started to eat the shrimp i thought ohhh i have to pull out my food scale like i said i would do earlier as suggested by Partlypollyanna,.... get the scale and what do you know, the battery is dead dead dead....oh well since its not a double or triple A battery i have to get hubby to buy it.. until then i will not know how much those 4 cooked shrimps weighed....

Now im thirsty and have to wait 45 minutes before i drink some more water, my vitamins and smooth move tea...

good Morning Menuers and JB,

I have been busy at work as well. Always busy the first of the month and I have a big Proposal due by the 21st so I been working on that in between my regular duties.

I hate the Apple store but I hope you got what you needed. It kills me that the place is so busy and I was too stupid and didn't buy stock in that crap 20 years ago.

QOTD: I only had a few roommates because I didn't stay in college too long. I remember one trying to be nice when I was home for the weekend and she killed my goldfish because she didn't neutralize the water before putting the fish back. I hated the dorm and hung with a fraternity so I think I mostly lived in the Fraternity house. They were pretty hazy days in my life.

Accountability: I skipped the gym and snacked snacked snacked. I ate one of those 100 calorie packs of carb laden something and a peanut butter cookie from a local bakery. Instead of putting a meal on a plate I just grazed dinner starting with ham and cheese roll up and braunschweiger and it went downhill from there. As Karen Encourages better choices today my friends.

TSS: 2 years 2 Month 22 days 138.4 (lowest 130.8)

CB: Dark roast coffee with SF ID Caramel Macchiato w/Miralax and Fiber

MS: Oikos cherry greek yogurt , Carb Conscious Elevation bar .

CB2: Dark roast coffee with SF ID Caramel Macchiato

L: 2 Crack chicken and celery w/aldi single serve humus and cream cheese

D: Stuffed burger with Goude bacon and pickles

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and my blood work has been good. My B12 has been High so I cut my sublingual to every 3rd or 4th day. And I have now added 500mg of Magnesium

Exercise: 30 minutes elliptical

Everybody have a Great day!

Brightest Blessings,

Chrissy

I hate those unstoppable grazing days, but they are so real and relatable. Hope today feels better!

JB you have the BEST QOTDs, always.

I have had SO many roommates. In college I had roommates and then after college into my 20s. I lived with a bunch of different friends, and at one point my brother and cousin. None were really problematic although once I lived alone, I was like "oh yeah, I won't go back to that". Mostly it was little nuisances like people who were loud late at night or one guy who came out as gay and then started dating this guy and immediately they settled into "the 24/7 couple who canoodles on the couch ALL. THE. TIME." Like, I could never watch tv because they were just laying there in the family room every evening and weekend, intertwined - it was like a first love at age 25 so you can imagine.

I am trying to not feel really sorry for myself. My work trip to Utah next week was canceled (a 16,000 person conference called off due to CoronaVirus) and a lot of work went into it, and of course we had to cancel Italy for Spring Break. I have been busting my ass this entire first quarter and the thought of sitting in my home office for another 50-60 hour week while the kids have a week off is just so demoralizing. We are trying to see if we can find an affordable-ish US trip.

Sigh...I think part of my demoralization is that I either pulled a muscle in my back or my lack of hip alignment is making my life very uncomfortable.

B: iced coffee so far, probably a leftover chicken thigh

L: leftover pasta with turkey meat sauce

D: asian stir fry - rice for Kris, and then edamame, pineapple, grilled chicken thigh in a homemade sauce over top

E: since I can't sit, stand or walk comfortably, nada

Have a great day!
