Good morning. Today it is cool here for Southwest Florida (see photo below). We took a nice walk along the river yesterday. Today we will either sit by the pool (if warm enough - sometimes it is quite warm on a cool day because it is sheltered) or maybe go to Venice and shop. Hmmm...Regardless we are going to a new restaurant on the water that just opened.
QOTD: Nope, I never prepare ahead. I could wing it for a week or so with what I always have on hand and figure I could manage beyond that somehow if there was a catastrophe. DS is the opposite - he tried to buy masks the other day and found out they are out of stock everywhere, including Amazon.

Morning. We're on Day #7 of the flu over here. Kid #1 is recovered and back at school and the other one is 5 days in and still has a fever. This too shall pass, this too shall pass.
QOTD: We have talked about stocking up on things like Advil and Tylenol/sick day supplies so that we have them if people go into mass hysteria and buy them all. I'm not really sure what the best route is here, but I try to remind myself that the last Pandemic was Novel H1N1 in 2009 and the world did not end.
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream x2
- English Muffin, Egg, Cheese, Bacon

I sale medical supplies for a living and If I get one more call from a friend or family member asking for masks I will scream. I had 18 calls on Tuesday. We have been out of them for weeks. We were selling boxes of n95 masks for $75 for 20 masks that are usually less than $1. Stop getting stupid people wash your hands and deal with it. This too shall pass.

Mornin' All!
nothing on the agenda today, but I have to get out of the house so I'm not grazing. Tuesday was bad due to a lunch out. The last two days have been much better, but I still ate at the high end of my maintenance range when I need to be at the low end for awhile (although it's good that I'm now mad at myself for eating at the high end of my maintenance range - it wouldn't have fazed me at all before - I'd only get upset if I went over range). Anyway, I want to lose 8-10 lbs, not maintain, so low end (or slightly under) it is. And I will do it today! I have some work I need to do for a couple of my organizations, so I figured I'd take all my stuff over to the public library and work there for a few hours so I'm away from my refrigerator.
QOTD: I tend to be a food hoarder in general, but other than Y2K, which turned out to be a bust, I don't stockpile it for emergencies. I'm just not all that worried about getting coronavirus (I'm more worried about my trip to Italy getting canceled because of it!). I remember all the H1N1 fears a few years ago. I caught it - but it was like a bad case of the flu. It put me out for three or four days, but then I was fine. I think it might be the same with this new coronavirus. It'll be a huge issue for those with compromised immune systems, but for most people - probably not. Plus I have enough food in my two refrigerators (we have a spare in the basement) and my cupboards to last for weeks!
4 years 8 months out:
B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt and blueberry compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: salad with diced turkey and light dressing
AS: L&F yogurt - or maybe some homemade pumpkin yogurt
D: either a few pieces of sushi or a couple of Costco chicken skewers. And some strawberry compote with 2 T sugar free Cool Whip (i've been totally hooked on this this past week!)
the picture below popped up as a Facebook memory this morning. It's from two years ago. I'm in the front row - the one furthest left (blue & teal swimsuit). With the bony chest. I thought I was at my lowest weight then (138), but no - I checked my records and I weighed 145 that week. Oh to be there again (138 was way too low for me - but mid- to high 140s was great). I weigh 158-160 now, depending on the day. In 10 or so lbs, I could be there again. Why the hell is this so hard????!!!!
Good morning JB and Menuers,
OMG that cake looks divine. I just licked the screen thank god my office door is closed.
If your in that much pain you should definitely do urgent care or at the least get triple antibiotic cream on it as soon as you can. I am sure if your in a school maybe a school nurse may have some or can advise. Cat Scratch Fever is an actual ailment it is not just a made up song.
QOTD: No one would ever starve in my house. I do not need to prep for a storm.
Accountability: Same as JB huge pouch day I could not stop eating. Figs, ham roll ups, one of those Keto cinnamon rolls(as soon as they are gone never again) And I was eating jelly and nut butter from a jar. Someone made me strawberry jam with swerve. Yummy. In my defence it was tax day and I gotta pay . I know there should be no excuse.
