What's on your Thursday menu,RNYers?
I was aloud back in the gym 6 weeks post op with no ab work for about 2 or 3 months. Then after my hernia I am only aloud cardio till I see the surgeon in July and only then he will tell me what strength and ab work I can do.

yeah that sounds about right..doc told me 6 weeks to for strenuous excersices but walking ok..

Good morning menu crew.
boy, today is going to drag on FOREVER! I'm so tired and in a bit of a foul mood. Not even sure why. Just eck. Did not sleep well and was in a lot of pain. Tylenol 3's seem to work for only a short while and make me groggy as heck.
really hoping I have a decent day. I've decided to get my hair cut tomorrow. Getting a lot cut off. I wish I could pull off a sort of pixie hair cut but I'm just not that brave.

chop it all off...for real its so liberating, I keep getting mine cut shorter and shorter.
I literally had my husband shave off the back and sides last week with his clippers. it feels so nice and the top is still a little longer so I can style it a few different ways but it only takes like 2 minutes!

I think what I'm worried about is the patch os psoriasis on the top part of my scalp.

QOTD- Longer days, more sunlight and warmth. It's so much easier to be active when the weather is nice.
I've been a grump the last couple of days, not sure why other than I was woken up at about 12:24AM on Tuesday by my roommate making loud noises cooking and eating. So I ended up taking a lunesta to sleep and just woke up grumpy. Last night the melatonin helped me get back to sleep when I woke up multiple times, not all my roommates fault. But I always struggle with sleep.
Didn't end up walking again, even though the weather wasn't too bad. There is this horrible rumor that we may get snow next week, unfortunately February is when we usually get it. I have crocus blooming and the flowering trees are blooming so maybe spring is coming.
I'm trying to cheer myself up and quit being such a grump. I will try to channel Winnie the Pooh instead of Eeyore today.
