What's on your Thursday menu,RNYers?
Need the accountability so I'll start us off. Miss Lily and looked like crazy folk as we walked around our well lit parking lots at 5 am but we got it done. We'll do another 3 plus miles later too. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday (no snack at break time) and weight is 120.4. QOTD thinking of warmer weather, what is your favorite thing about spring? Mine is more sun. These dark gloomy days really get to me. Here's the food plan for the day B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c chili D 4 oz onion burger with cheese no bun. Staying out of snacks is the priority. Have a great day full of healthy choices everyone!

Good morning Karen!! Glad you and Lily got out for your walk, hope it wasn't too cold!!
I took the red eye to Miami so while I'm waiting for my next flight, I'm drinking all the coffee! There will be no coffee left for anyone else, SorryNotSorry.
i have a salami and cheese pack for the next flight, after I finish depleting the worlds supply of coffee, and we're having dinner at a steak place so I'll have filet and asparagus for dinner; lunch is up in the air but I do have a protein bar in my purse.
I've heard mixed messages on the WiFi situation at my hotel so I may not be on again until next week. Please take a moment the celebrate that I have 5 days at the beach (including an 80s theme night!) and 4 day work trip all packed into my carryon. I will admit that to make it work, my backpack ended up weighing as much as my carryon but I blame the laptop but it worked!
hope everyone has a great rest of the week and weekend!

Good morning, everybody!
My 18 month appointment went fairly well yesterday. They said that my metabolism numbers were pretty surprising for a post-op. They also agreed with me that I should try and lose 8 pounds before my 24 month appointment in late August, so I am working on that. I just need to be a little more Karen like in my eating to go along with my commitment to fitness.
Has Madison Rose been away this week? Hopefully, she is just busy and not feeling under the weather.
Today, I need to drink my coffee, pack, go and lift, shower and then head to the airport with my son. He takes an engineering class in the morning that he doesn't want to miss, so I will pick him up from school and we will head to the airport. All we have today is travel. Tomorrow we actually tour the school and my son will get to attend a class.
Saturday is our fishing trip. Thus far it says 51 degrees for our fishing day. I am keeping my fingers crossed, but still packing plenty of cold weather gear.
QOTD: Everything really. Longer days, warmth, no ice on my car, all of the trees and plants in bloom.
Photo Friday: proper dough kneading technique demonstrated by a celebrity chef selected at random
Breakfast: sausage

lunch: at airport salad mainly
snack: airport peanuts

Have a great day, all!
