Update: Foot Action
Hey Guys, Some of you may have seen my post from the what are we having post. Basically Saturday night I step on a piece of glass what I thought was something minor,Turned out to be major...I went to see the podiatrist today and after another xray the piece of glass is actually bigger than I thought and it's deeper than expected....So he said because it's an open wound he needs to get in there and to exact the piece of glass and flush eveything out....I called my surgeon's office to make sure I was good as I am 12 post revision.

When I had a toe surgery in spring last year, I was surprised how much it hurt after and that I could not put any weight on that foot for a while. Keeping my foot elevated and iced. It really helped me to have a small one knee scooter to be able to move around the house and the office. It made a huge difference. My friend/family have one so I borrowed that from them, but someone told me that the can be rent on monthly basis. I had crutches but in one day I almost "spilled" 2 times. I used the scooter for moving around the house during first 7-10 days after the surgery. Check in advance if after they remove the glass, you need to have your foot elevated or you can put weight on it.

Just an update...Surgery went well. I'm still groggy and itchy from the anesthesia and rather sleepy. They were able to get all the glass out and I can put pressure on my foot as tolerated. However for today it's bathroom and bed. They gave me a cane and my foot is super tingly and numb right now....This is some way to celebrate my 13 days of being post op...lol
