What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?
I'm stealthily typing in a meeting lol- we will see if I can typey type secretly. so by the time we got back from daddy's and moms house and working at Starbucks yesterday that I decided to drive back to TN early this morning. so I was up at 4:45. I'm sure I will be dead later... and I look like I live in my car cause there is stuff everywhere.
my mind is a bit scattered today- feeling discombobulated so need to streamline my thoughts and get things in order. I wont have dogs all week and DH- will be so so sad.
food will be piecemeal today-
breakfast- 1/2 lavash wrap, 4 egg whites, and spinach and mushrooms
lunch will probably be the rest (except 2 whites) and some ground chicken on it
QOTD: I leave yelp reviews for food places. not as much product reviews.
Good morning, Happy Monday!
QOTD - I leave reviews for local places that provide great service. I don't leave bad reviews ever, it's just not my thing. I simply don't go back.
Breakfast - None, but enjoying a hot Americano since I am still fasting
Lunch - Up in the air, having lunch with a friend from work - something vegan.
Snack - Fruit smoothie, (frui****er, chia seeds, oat milk)
Dinner - Something veggies, something pasta, that's all I know so far!
Snack - Hemp protein shake (oatmeal, hemp protein powder, 1/2 banana, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 tbsp dark cocoa powder)
Have a wonderful day y'all!
Christina

Another QOTD that speaks to me.
Several months ago I had had it with my primary care doc. His condescending and cavalier attitude had me at my witts end. He was continually pushing diet pills to which I wanted no part of and had made my opinon clear. When I got home I went online and gave an opionion of this doc and office in general, supposedly anonymous. Hahaha. Now after every visit I am emailed an evaluation of the visit, and the doc. His attitude seems to have been adjusted.....hmmmm

Well hello old friends!
I just discovered this morning that since I got my promotion they no longer block my web access on the firewalls LOL...
Yes, I have had this job for 3 months now but I actually never had a free moment to even think about checking this website during work hours up until this week so here I am!
I will likely still be sporadic in my posting because my job is pretty nuts but I am here today and I wanted to say HELLO :)
I had a rough month or so in the beginning of the year as far as sticking to my eating plan, but I have since reigned it in and I am back on track.
I hit my 2 year surgiversary on 2/12 and the surgeon's office weighed me in at the exact same weight I was at my 18 month appointment, which was actually about 6 lbs heavier than my lowest weight, but like I said, I wasn't doing great and had a small regain.
I freaked out a little when my weight was getting dangerously close to 155...I stopped tracking/weighing and measuring and I knew I wasn't making good choices. I was feeling bloated and uncomfortable so I started back on MFP about 2 weeks ago and already lost 5 of the lbs again so I am hoping to keep going and see what happens.
I am actually pretty sure I could probably lose another 10 if I work hard enough, which might be good for a nice cushion.
In other news, my DH just had gallbladder removal surgery on 2/11. He's recovering well but his job gives him 3 weeks off paid, so he is still home with Story for another week off work, and he just found out his work schedule is going to be moving him to 3rd shift.
This is good for the monetary bonus he's getting and the fact that we won't need to pay for Child care anymore during the day, but it's going to be rough for a few months before Story starts full time kindergarten in the fall (then he can go back to sleep during the day while she's in school)...he will literally only be able to sleep for about 2-3 hours before he has to get up and get her ready for preschool. He can then go home and nap for a little but but will have to go pick her up about 2 hours later. He says he will be fine, but I am sure it will be a struggle for a while to adjust.
QOTD: I usually just leave reviews for things if I feel strongly about them one way or another. Mostly just on Amazon.
Anyway, Down to the food.
B: 1/2C cottage cheese, 1 HB egg and 2oz black forest ham w/dill and EBB seasoning
MS: Apple
L: Cheesy ham and veggie soup
AS: L&F greek yogurt
D: leftover salmon & snap peas
ES: turkey meat stick, string cheese & 1oz chili lime cashews
I can't wait for spring and sunshine...I really want to get outside and start running again. I am so unmotivated to work out in my cold dark basement.
