What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?
I had the same issue after surgery and the protein shakes were causing it. Turns out I'm lactose intolerant and with the pain and gas it was awful. I don't know if you are having the same issue but you might want to try something with whey protein isolate, it has no lactose. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you,I ordered a bunch of premier protein so that's what I have in my stock cause I wanted to be prep before hand but I might have to figure out something else or just try drinking half which is what I did and it was fine.

Sorry you didn't sleep well, but at least it is the weekend. It is cool for Florida, barely getting out of the 50's yesterday so I used the day for housecleaning. I will finish today.
QOTD: I LOVE to shop online, especially if I feel I am getting a good deal and I especially love when there is free shipping. I really got ramped up when I tried it on my son's iPad years ago and then had to get my own iPad. I love scrolling and looking at stuff. Amazon Prime is definitely #1, but I also buy frequently from Landsend, Talbots, Thredup, and MANY more. And I also often put stuff in the cart, then think about it for a few days.
Speaking of shopping I have a significant birthday next month. SIL says buying clothing for my birthday doesn't count as a special gift and I should find something that I usually wouldn't buy myself. Quality jewelry would usually fit in that category but right now I can't come up with anything in that category. Ideas?

Good morning menu friends! Miss Lily and I have our first long walk in and will do another long walk and a short lunch time walk too. It's 26 here this morning but will be 47 supposedly this afternoon. Not sure what the plans are for today except to do some cleaning and possibly laundry. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 120.6 today. QOTD I don't shop online or much at all but hubby uses Amazon Prime often. Groceries are bought locally. Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz deli turkey D 4 oz baked cod. Have a wonderful day full of smart choices everyone! Time for some coffee!
Good morning, everybody!
DD is going to be on College Gameday today. They are at Baylor for the Baylor/Kansas basketball game this morning. I am not sure if I have ever watched the basketball version of Gameday, but we watch the football one all of the time. Anyways, we got a text yesterday asking how closely Costco cards people. I think the girls were going to make a run to get their supplies for the overnight wait to get on the show.
Today we got a text of the girls lined up with their sleeping bags and copious amounts of snacks in the hallway of the athletic facility. Hopefully they will get on camera.
I looked for Scaleskater at the game last night, but didn't see him.
Other than watching DD, today is mostly gym and I am going to sign up for a couple of races this March. One is a shamrock 5-K in the suburbs and the other is an 8-K in Chicago. But I may bail one or both if the weather is miserable.
QOTD: I don't really do any of our family's shopping for basics, so my online purchases are pretty much all discretionary things: Alan Edmonds, William Henry and Nieman Marcus, used Folio Society and Easton Press book sets on Ebay and Rogue Fitness. Basically, I am of no value to you here. But that is often the case.
Breakfast: Sausage
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: Chili
snack: Chili
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

Mornin' All!
I actually slept pretty well last night - but then, I slept like four hours the night before, so I was due for a good night!
I went to see "63 Up" last night on campus and absolutely loved it. I've seen all nine films in the series, and this was my favorite. I could really relate to those people more than ever before since we're all in the same phase of life, and for the first time, we're all kind of thinking about the same things - reflecting on our lives, thinking about aging and what we're going to do in the time we have left, dealing with the loss of loved ones, etc (they started interviewing these British kids at age 7 - originally to show differences in social classes - but after interviewing them every seven years hence (at ages 14, 21, 28, etc - up to now age 63), it's really become more of a documentary on life in general). Anyway, DH and MIL are going today (DH has never seen the series, but MIL has seen them all). You don't need to see the previous films as they show plenty of clips from them, so you'll know what's going on and what happened to them previously). Highly recommended.
today I am going to a Zumbathon from 1:00-3:00. I've been looking forward to this ever since I first heard about it. There are at least four different instructors leading it (I'm guessing each for a half hour or so). I can usually go strong for 45 minutes of Zumba but can make myself keep up for the usual hour, so I'll need to take breaks now and then today since this session is so long - but I'm going to do this!!
QOTD: Yes - I online shop. Mostly from amazon, Vitamin Shoppe, and GNC.
