Morning everyone! Blergh, I slept so poorly last night--for no good reason! I was too hot, too cold, thirsty, my neck was sore, the cats were loud..... I could go on. I was up for a few hours in the middle of the night and did some serious online shopping. Oops.

Nothing much going on today. I am heading out for my weigh in first thing, then I have a friend coming over and we are going to finalize our vacation :) I also need to go to the Apple Genus store today. My computer stopped taking a charge unless I restart it, and it's annoying to restart every time I want to use it (serious first world problem, I know...!) Anyway, I chose a store to take it to that is really close to the beach because it is supposed to be 57 degrees (it was 16 degrees yesterday, btw!!), so I figured that while we wait we could take a nice walk along the beach.

Accountability: Well, I had pork rinds and wine for dinner, lol. But I stayed within my points and the rest of the day was on plan. Hoping I don't retain water for my weigh in this morning.

QOTD: Do you online shop? Do you have a go-to store? I order way more than I should from Amazon Prime. It was necessary last year when I was too busy to shop for anything I needed, but it has become a bad habit. I also kill too much time putting things into my cart on Zulilly, in the middle of the night, but I don't actually buy it too often.

Since my friend is coming over and we are going out for the afternoon appointment with the Geniuses, I have to assume we are going out to lunch, so I am not going to bother planning anything. But the rest of the day should be pretty typical.

I'm going to join you in the terrible sleep club. I fell asleep on the couch for a few minutes and then couldn't sleep anymore when I went up to bed. It was after 11 before I closed my eyes and then at 1am my oldest came in to tell me she thought she had a fever (she did). I stayed up with her for awhile to let some meds kick in and I had my alarm set for 5am because my in-laws are due to come sometime this morning and knowing them it will be 8am.

I had the MRI on my hip yesterday. The Anthrogram was not a lot of fun (a lot of numbing shots and then a bit needle into the hip to inject contrast) but the MRI was worse since it took a solid 60 minutes and it's pretty much agony to lay still that long on a post-WLS tail bone! OUCH.

Today my hip is super sore and tight. They warned me that it would since they 'overfilled' the joint socket with the contrast. They said that part would be better in 24 hours. I booked a follow up to review my MRI results on 3/3.

QOTD: I do most of my shopping online. The normal everyday, need this and that stuff I get from Amazon. I also do most of my Christmas shopping on Amazon. Truthfully, it's a rare day when I order from anywhere else unless I have a very specific purpose.

  • TBD, depends on if my in-laws are here if not then Turkey & Cheese w/ Cucumber
  • TBD, I think we're planning on a steak house for dinner, so I'll probably have steak and veggie

Good morning everyone. Why am I up so early? Bleh

New refrigerator being delivered some time today. They couldn't give a window but at least they'll call before. Ugh.

I had my very first dumping episode last night. Lots of fun. It was either that or something I ate had went bad in the fridge but I don't think it was that. I'm so very tired so I'm hoping for a nap or three.

so food is gonna be hard without being able to use a fridge. We have a few coolers iced up with some thing but we are scared to use some of that food. So I'm not sure what food will hold. Probably a Jimmy dean delight bowl from our freezer for breakfast. Maybe a few shakes thrown in there.

qotd:with the exception of groceries I shop online. No one place really. I get my Chainmaille supplies online. Gifts and such online too.

I know it isn't photo Friday anymore but I had a FB memory from 7 years ago. Good Lord I don't want to get back to this. On the ball today thanks to it. I'm going to print out a copy or two and keep it on the fridge and pantry door. It was the gotcha day of our chihuahua Skippy.

I don't know if you have ever tried CBD oil for your pain. My roommate has managed to stop taking morphine with it, he orders it online and it has no THC in it. He has chronic nerve pain from being hit by a drunk driver.

I hope you find a solution I know how debilitating pain can be. Take care of yourself.

Good Morning everyone, I slept okay after all the pain that I was feeling died down....It felt like I got attack by gas yesterday and it cause me ain't much pain that I was in tears. I barely ate yesterday because of the pain I just kept drinking hot tea finally after two gas x I started to feel something relief.... Today I'm post op 10 revision and I'm hoping that it will be an easier day. I'm not sure what's going to be on my menu today cause I'm scared anything will bring on that gas pain.
