What's on your (PHOTO FRIDAY) Menu, RNYers?
Morning and happy friday! This week has kicked my ass, and like you, Julia I seem to be fighting the never ending illness. I haven't felt 100% since December and I haven't been able to take any time off to truly rest. One of my friends asked me the other day if I actually know how to sit and do nothing. My answer: "no." I'm going to try it this weekend and see how it goes. Last weekend we had our firm's 25th anniversary party at the Beverly Wilshire hotel. 450 people AND KC and the Sunshine Band. It was so much fun, although I'm tired of fancy nights for a while. I was going to post pictures but forgot my phone in the car, so next week I'll post a picture of Stacy playing dress up.
QOTD: I love love love old movies. I'm a sucker for anything with Cary Grant. Mr. Blandings Builds his Dream House, Suspicion, etc. . . . Now THAT's a way to get me to sit and "do nothing." Hmmmm, maybe my plan for this weekend. As far as old holiday movies, I'll continue with the theme and say The Bishop's Wife.
My Plan
B: depends on what the firm breakfast is. If eggs and bacon, that. If not I have Costco egg bites in the fridge. On one of my client visits I saw a new flavor and was intrigued. Spinach and roasted pepper.
L: chicken breast and avocado
D: I have no idea. My mom has been sick for the past week, so I may see if she's feeling better and if so, I'll take her to dinner. If not, I may pick up chicken kabobs and that would be with Israeli salad and hummus
S: I have a Costco Warehouse visit this morning, so I'll likely grab a latte on my way to the car to have on my drive and blueberries and yogurt before the gym
E: Spin with a live DJ. It's either going to be super fun or a disaster. I've done similar rides before that are disasters because they don't transition beats well, and it's hard to stay on pace. But, it's getting me out of work on time (early for me) and my friends are riding, so it's all good.
Good morning! HAPPY FREAKING FINALLY FRIDAY!
QOTD - It's a Wonderful Life. Not just as a Christmas movie. I almost lost my husband to depression and other issues last year, and on the other side...life is beautiful. So so beautiful. My husband can'****ch it, its still raw. I love it, I cry and I am always SO happy to hear that little tinkle of bells.
Breakfast - None, fasting until noon
Lunch - Some taqueria place with ladies at work, I'm sure I can have some veggie caldo or bean, lettuce and tomato tacos!
Snack - Frozen fruit smoothie, frui****er, chia seed, mct creamer, hemp seed protein, and oat milk
Dinner - Up in the air, but will be out with husband. I'm hoping something at the local vegan place I love!
I am including a pic of one of my four doggies. This is Rhiannon, aka Rey. She is the best girl. She was waiting for me to finish cooking a Beyond Burger. The dogs LOVE it, even though I tell them it's plants!

By my thermometer it was over 70 yesterday, I got my lawn mowed and a little yard clean-up done. Still a ton left to do.
No answers from the NP, she tried to put me on a drug I've already tried and hasn't worked for me. So I'm not sure what the next attempt will be.
Had a busy day and felt pretty good, the bright sunshine helped.
