What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

Ha, I am pretty sure that we could have a double king and out little 15lb cat could still find a way to make our feet hang over the edge!
All your upcoming trips sound so exciting!

Hmmm, I have to ask you a serious question, JB.
Do the words "little" and "15 lb cat" belong together?
LOL my cat is a chunky 15 lbs but this past weekend we were at a friend's whose cat must be like 22 lbs and when I came home, Chloe looks positively svelte!
I am super excited about my trips!!! Though stressed about being out of the office - all were booked prior to this new **** show of a job...

"Little" was meant to sound relative to the giant King Sized bed...there is nothing small about him--he is all chonk. My mom's 13 year old cat is a petite little 6 pounder and every time we visit there, we come home and look at out cats like they are monsters.

You definitely were the one to turn me on to the Ever Roast chicken and I thank you for that! They always slice it too thin here, LOL. I ask for it to be thick enough to roll and it is thinner than tissue paper.

They don't sell it at any of my usual grocery stores so I've only had it once :( It was soooo good!

Mornin' All!
So I am supposed to do another 24-hour urine collection test sometime this month (my endocrinologist - whom I'm seeing for osteoporosis - discovered last fall that I had hypercalcemia), so I'm doing it today. I had nothing on my schedule, and it's only supposed to get to like 15 degrees F today, so I was pretty much going to be homebound ANYWAY. Seemed like the perfect day for a 24-hour test. I just hope all is well now so I don't have to do one of these tests again. What a huge PITA.
Yesterday I read somewhere that TJ's has come out with "Everything but the Elote", and it's a hit. I hadn't noticed it before - so I ran out last night to buy some. People use it on everything - meat, eggs, potatoes - whatever. Thought it might perk up my hummus - among other things. I can't wait to try it...
QOTD: I've had the same hairstyle for several years now. Chin-length hair seems to be the perfect length for me. I can't do long anymore - it looked fine on me when I was a teenager and young adult, but not anymore. And I can't do super short because I look like a pinhead. So - chin-length it is. I've been coloring it for the last 15 or so years. I've had it done professionally for probably 10. Every couple of years she goes a little lighter, since she said it looks more natural as you get older (because your skin gets lighter as you age, evidently). So - there you have it...same hairstyle, but it gets progressively lighter.
accountability was great yesterday. And it will be today as well!
4 years 8 months out:

Thanks for the TJ's tip. Elote is freaking delicious! I am tempted to get a can of corn, a huge pat of butter, add the seasoning... and go. to. town.
