What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?

actually, I just glanced at a document put out by some senior organization. They cite Consumer Reports saying that 60 is a good time to get it - not too young, but not old enough that you're not going to qualify or will end up paying outrageous premiums. But still...I'll do a bunch of research since it's not cheap!

I consider 60 to still be really young to I guess its not anywhere near on my radar! But I do see what they are saying with get it while you are young & in good health, I get it but I think its more a mental thing for me of "I am only 60 and in good health so why am I going to spend money on this now..."

Both maternal & paternal sides of my family I think we have every disease known to man so even though I am under 50 maybe I should be looking at this as well...

Great idea on doing your research!

We pray for snow every day. Here in Pittsburgh we have not had one day we had to plow or even shovel. granted its cold but no precipitation. Please send it our way.

I would if I could!! Actually, I shouldn't complain. Other than a few days here and there, it's been a pretty mild winter. I guess I just don't like winter in general!!!

The Keys are probably my first choice! But I'm having a hard time finding good packages. I think it's just too popular at this time of year!

Good morning! I'm not quite brave enough yet to jump in and post to the menu thread. I'm still getting used to the process and very limited on food. Soon I hope, but not quite yet. I read every day and look for food ideas, and feel like I am getting to know everyone.

That said, I have to chime in here. Vero Beach, Florida. Sweet little town, beautiful beach. Lot's of walking. We loved it.

Happy Tuesday JB & Menu Peeps! How is everyone? I am off today from work, I extended my long weekend by a day and its wonderful... although I think I have the flu... ugh, I didn't eat anything yesterday other than two black coffees's because I was so nauseous and the mere thought of food made me gag and today its worse with really bad diarrhea! UGH

Cold and tons of snow here, we got dumped on last night, its going to be a stay in PJs, drink hot coffee & tea all day kind of day.

QOTD: I am not really someone to suggest warm places because I generally don't travel much, but all my friends LOVE Jamaica, Cuba & Mexico and I mean love. They go back year after year to the same resorts and said they are treated like Kings & Queens and they are all inclusive so you can't go wrong. I have a friend who is a bit older than me and she has been going back to Jamaica for vacations for close to 30 years! She loves it there and says its safe and she always comes back relaxed and happy!

Nothing to report for accountability since I can't keep anything down, stupid germs!

TSS: 6 yrs & 3 mos post op RNY, weight today 127.1 lbs

I don't have a menu today, I will be trying to drink lots of liquids, coffee & tea and will try some toast later on today and see if that stays down.

Wash your hands people and stay well everyone!
