Hey everyone, well I'm back on the loser bench....I converted my sleeve to a bypass. My surgery took longer than expected because when he got in there I had hiatal hernia. So he had to fix that as well,The pain isnt that bad. I'm just really sore...I was able to advance to puree foods before I left the hospital....I was only there for one day. I'm sipping as walking and lots of hot liquids which is helping with the gas pain.

Sounds like you are right on track, awesome news. Keep walking and sipping and rest so your body can heal.

I'm making sure to walk and sip ,had some broth yogurt and some lemon ice.

Welcome to the RnY side! Glad things are progressing for you and your surgeon was able to fix everything. You'll be sore for a little. Just keep pain meds ahead of the pain if you can because you don't want any unnecessary stresses during your recovery period. Yes!... KEEP WALKING!

Thank you, Yes progressing slowly...been checking my temp and using my breathing machine. Not really having too much pain just alot of soreness and tiredness.
