What's on your (PHOTO FRIDAY) Menu, Valentines?
Morning all! This was not a great start to my morning as I get to work and my boss brought breakfast for everyone from chick fil a. I ate the biscuit....first one I've had since surgery and then gave the hash browns away. I am determined to eat good for the rest of the day!
QOTD: coffee, coffee and more coffee!!!
B: Chicken biscuit and coffee....over 400 calories in the biscuit alone so that's already over half my calories for the day.
L: think I'm gonna skip lunch or just have a L&F yogurt.
D: Going out for dinner....not sure where yet as it's a surprise, but I'm definitely ordering healthy!

I don't think you should look at the biscuit as a rotten start to your morning, look at it as a a food you wanted, you ate it, and if you would have felt deprived while everyone else was eating it and it might have caused you to binge later then it was actually a win. Re-frame your thinking
I hope you have a wonderful dinner at the surprise place and enjoy yourself. Happy Valentines Day!

Happy 2 week -a-versary! Hope you have a lovely Valentines day.
I am sure the dark chocolate gift was coming from a place of love but being only two weeks post op I would caution you that eating that at two weeks post op is going to be a bad bad bad idea. I would put the chocolate in the fridge/freezer so that you can enjoy it at a later date but not advised at two weeks post op.
I think the rest of your menu looks amazing and you are doing awesome so far, keep up the great work!

Congratulations on how well things are going weight loss wise.
Keep in mind as you experiment that sticking to their food progression guidelines is important while you heal and be sure to let your program team know if you're eating off plan one and two weeks out, they may have suggestions to address.

You are less than a month out from surgery. Most people lose a lot of weight in the first few weeks, stall at week 3, then slow to a pound or so per week. "Your weight loss so far" will not continue, especially if you're eating chocolate.
Complacency at less than three weeks is a HUGE red flag. You'll need to work hard and follow your surgeon's guidelines all the way until goal.
Your sleeve is tiny and needs to be filled with protein first and foremost. Most folks wouldn't dream of having candy until well after they've reached goal.
