What's on your (PHOTO FRIDAY) Menu, Valentines?
I was wondering if you would make it outside yesterday - it was so cold here. Great pictures!

Thanks Jim, there is not a lot that will keep me away from hiking the dogs, I generally have rule that I won't go out in anything colder than -20C (-4F) otherwise I go out no matter what.
Love those faces (all 3)!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,
Valentines day is starting out great I got a card and DH was thinking and got me Jerky instead of candy.
Unfortunately I am heading to the funeral this morning for my cousin who passed from Leukemia. She lived a very hard life and never complained. I hope to leave the impression she left on this world when I pass. Funny thing though. The wake is is at the same restaurant that we have dinner reservations at for Valentines tonight. Crazy!
QOTD: I only drink coffee and water. I do sub in a Protein O2 sometimes if I need a protein bump or a Gatorade if I need an electrolyte bump if I been getting cramps but I am truly fine with water. I don't mind the water Enhancers (MIO) but Like I mentioned before I usually just use them to mix with Alcohol if I am not drinking whatever on the rocks.
TSS: 2 years 2 Month 3 days 137.2 (lowest 130.8)
CB: Dark roast coffee with SF ID Caramel Macchiato w/Miralax and Fiber
MS: Robert Irvine fit crunch mint chocolate chip bar
L: Some Protein and veggie
D: Scallops and Veggies and many a bite of DH's Desert.
Water and vitamins: On track. I take a one a day multivitamin I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and my blood work has been good. My B12 has been High so I cut my sublingual to every 3rd or 4th day. And I have now added 500mg of Magnesium
Exercise: Not tonight But I am so missing the spin class they had in the pool and paddle board yoga at the resort
Everybody have a great weekend!

Well isn't your hubby smart! Jerky instead of candy! Brilliant!!!
I am sorry for your loss, how tragic. It is very ironic about the wake being at the same place you have reservations at.
Your vacations pics are amazing!!! I love the one of you & hubby holding hands on the loungers. You look ah-mazing girl! Keep up the awesome work!!!
And your DH's snow plow modifications are just incredible, that guy has some talent!

Your vacation looks amazing! And you do too! I hope your day was as good as it could be and you were able to remember your cousin with all the others who loved her too.

So...yesterday was a tougher day for me food wise. I'm home alone for a few days (hubby doing some family stuff for his parents out of state). It should be easy, right? But I found myself grazing about every hour.
Now, not every choice was a bad choice. I ate some leftover baked salmon, 1/2 a sweet potato (plain which I love), an 80 calorie greek yogurt. My issue came with carbs - I had 2 handfuls of cereal that my husband had left in the cabinet. And I didn't get in enough water - but had diet pepsi instead.
So today. New day. Here we go.
B - planning to hold off till about 11 am and make it brunch. ****tail shrimp and sautéed spinach. (I have a LOT of spinach and need to use it quick!)
L - See above...it's brunch.
Snack - a protein shake
D - Well, it's Valentines day so I'm not going to go out, and I'm very limited in my driving anyway (broken foot)....but I am tempted to pick something up. On second thought, I'll very likely opt to finish up my shrimp that's in the frig and add a different veggie. I also have a remaining 1/2 sweet potato for a treat.
Snack - 80 cal greek yogurt.
That plus 64 oz water and I should feel like a happy girl. I did not include fruit in today's line up - usually I have 2. Saving those in case I feel I "need" something else.
And happy Valentines Day! The world has gone crazy for sure....but LOVE is where it's at, and it's all around us if we look.

Happy Valentines Day Lynn!
I am not sure if you work outside the home or due to your broken foot you are home more but what I find is on the weekends or when I am home for a vacation day I tend to graze a lot more. The work week for me is so busy and I have such a good routine but when I am at home and close to the kitchen/fridge it all goes out the window ha ha ha so I totally feel you on your tough day yesterday. But today is a new day and you have a great plan in place!
I hope even though you are solo this weekend with hubby away you surround yourself with love and kindness. Have an awesome day!
