Good morning, kids! I hope you all had a great Tuesday. My day was really boring. I am up to my eyeballs in comparing spreadsheets for accuracy. It's extremely boring and sedentary, but every line of the spreadsheet represents a staff person, so if I get something wrong, I risk a person being displaced from their job. I will be at it for the majority of the week. It's bad when you are excited for a staff meeting to shake up your day a little, lol.

in other news--it's been raining in Boston since...October? I am supremely glad that it isn't snow, so I know I shouldn't be complaining, but I am annoyed that I can't skip the bus and walk. I'd be wiling to use an umbrella, but the puddles at every intersection are so deep that I would be soaked either way. I am so ready for summer!

Accountability: Another great day. I had planned to have a salad and chili for lunch, but I wasn't hungry so I saved the chili for dinner, which saved me an additional 6 points. I am not feeling like the weight is dropping quickly this week like it did last week, though. I am doing everything the same and keeping up with my movement, so I'm hoping it drops before weigh in on Saturday.

QOTD: Are you active in any other online groups? Nope--this is the only online group I read or participate in.

Trying oatmeal again. When I tried it on Monday, I had instant reflux! I hope it was a fluke, but if I get it again, I will throw it out and stick with morning eggs :)

Good morning!! That meme is so true!! Between all the law and orders, I'm surprised anyone exercised at all!

JB, so many spreadsheets and so much impact, it's a tough combination!! good luck with not going blind and getting everything done!

i am on the airport train, headed to Arizona. It's going to snow here today (not a lot) but be in the 60s/70s while I am in AZ so yay!

yesterday was good for accountability (after the train wreck of monday), plus I did my elliptical, did my around the house stuff and realized I could still make a Pilates class so I did.

qotd - nope, only here.

menu today is a bit up in the air, I will get more coffeee here and a protein bar for lunch (I get to the office at 9 and go straight through with meetings until 5). Meeting a friend for dinner and then I fast until 1230 tomorrow for blood work.
no exercise today other than walk through airports!

have a great Wednesday everyone! Have some lovely camels on this hump day!

Happy Hump Day! Where in AZ? I am sort of obsessed with Sedona and keep trying to figure out how to get back...

Sedona is lovely! I will just be in Phoenix for a day at the office and then Scottsdale for my 2 year follow up. Boring but warm!

Good Morning! Spreadsheet eyes is what I call it after having spent too many hours looking at them. I have a few long conference calls today and on one a team I am apart of is supposed to propose final staffing projection and we aren't ready. We do have a call before to review our notes so I'm hopeful the others in the group have found more stats than I was able to so we can make our recommendations.

I feel the same way about my weight this week: bouncing around the same weight even with low WW points. Patience, right? I do think I will squeak getting back to lifetime range tomorrow though it might be barely.

The summer before my retirement I had to do the spreadsheet evaluation for all my employees: tasks, average hours, priority. I hated that management above me made staffing decisions based on data which was often very subjective (not all tasks reported, hours estimate off, priority always subjective).

Yesterday we had a great day at the beach where I picked up lots of shells. Today is walking, errands, and waiting for a repairman. Sort of a retired person's work day.

QOTD: I used to participate in an online Alzheimer's Support forum but never as regularly as OH. Even when I wasn't doing the thread here or weighing myself, I was still participating here in a VSG maintenance group. I feel like I know everyone here because we share more about ourselves than just what we ate, so we become friends. In the end that is what keeps me coming back (and maybe others?).

TSS: 3 years, 10.5 months

B: Eggs, salsa, and coffee

L: Sliced chicken and laughing cow cheese wedge

D: Salmon and broccoli

S: Baked Apple, cottage cheese
