One day at a time, ONE MEAL at a time.

When I eat foods that I know I am not suppose to eat if I want to lose weight, I don't beat myself up, don't discount the whole day or a week, I start back on plan the very next meal.

My other motto I live with is in my signature line

"I can eat or drink anything I want to as long as I am willing to deal with the consequences."

That one is for me, or others to stop self pity that I can't have something.

i no longer tell "I can't have that" or "I can't eat that"

I replaced it with " I don't eat that, I don't want to eat that".

It's amazing now changing from I can't have that to I don't want that can be. It's more a born a choice than a punishment! I have used your "next meal, next choice" on my brain a few times!!
