I am so sorry for your loss. In 1996 my cousin also lost both parents to cancer and had a full term stillborn daughter. She is the strongest person I know and she got through it. I wish the same for your niece.

Good morning everyone -- feels like I'm really late but it's only 930 i****'s just been a long morning.
OMG your cats are adorable...cat tongue and trying to get into the fridge, lol.
QOTD - very rarely chew gum; I do have sugar free mints when I can't brush my teeth right then but I've never been a big gum chewer.
Accountability yesterday was a rollercoaster; I had a break mid morning so I ate breakfast and then did my elliptical but had a blood sugar drop at the end of it for no reason, then I tried to get the shakey feeling to stop, over did and got to repeat the cycle a few hours later. Not my idea of fun. I've noticed the shakes a bit more lately, not as bad as yesterday, so I'll bring it up to my doc later this week; I'm guessing I need to adjust my meal to workout timing or something.
EX - I've already shoveled the snow (should be the last time this week!) and I'll get some time of the elliptical this afternoon.
Menu -
coffee and half and half X 3
Carbmaster cottage cheese
RGF poppers
cheese crust pizza slice
L&F greek
Gotta go make some tea to get me through my next meeting. I have really been enjoying some green tea blends that I picked up -- Twinings brand, Sea Salt Caramel Green Tea, Lemon Drizzle Cake Green Tea and Cherry Bakewell Green Tea. I've seen the lemon drizzle cake and the bakewell tarts on the great british bakeoff so these make me feel very cosmopolitan, lol.
Have a great day!!

Are the shakes always related to exercise? I was getting the dizzy/shakes happening to me a lot between 6 - 12 months out, and I even passed out a few times, but not really since. I never figured out what the issue was or why it went away. I don't remember my shakes being related to exercise.

For the most part yes, I've noticed it a bit in the past few months when I've gone too long without eating but much more at exercise, yesterday was just extreme though. I"m hoping it's as simple as it was to resolve as the hypostatic brown outs were -- I never have those anymore unless I'm under 100 oz for a few days. Fingers crossed this will be as easy as just moving some meal schedules around...or going back ON a meal schedule, lol. I have not passed out so that's a plus, that must have been so scary!

Woof, busy day at work so far today and I've had no time to get here before now. I got out of bed late this morning too! It's pouring rain and I have a boat load of homework to do when I get home. That about covers today.
QOTD: I do chew gum. I started back up around 4-6 months post-op and for awhile when I was highly restricting food I chewed over a pack of it a day. So much that I was causing myself mouth sores! Since I started eating enough I don't really crave chewing it, so it's really just a rare occasion when I feel like it.
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream x2 and a Latte
- English Muffin, Egg, Cheese, Bacon
- Protein Bar (I didn't eat breakfast until 10, so lunch became a quick grab)
- Pulled Pork, Coleslaw, Cornbread

My day has been somewhat stressful. I'm at work and last night country music was playing and tonight, country is playing. I want to crush whatever is sending out this annoying racket. Trying to ignore but it's too loud.
Oh well, only 2 hours and 15 minutes left. We had an 8:20 appointment to get our taxes done. We get a whopping $7 back. Better than paying but a few hundred would have been so much better. I had some other business to take care of so didn't get any relaxing time.
QOTD: No gum for me. As soon as the sweet taste is gone, I'm done. I used to grit my teeth and gum chewing was painful and I never got back to it.
I'm over in WW points today.
Just Crack an Egg - 6 pts
Big Train/Click made with low fat milk - 5 pts
Lean Cuisine turkey - 7 pts
Power Crunch - 7 pts; tangelo - 0 pts
I usually make my shakes with 35 calorie almond milk, but I bought almond & coconut because it was on sale. I don't like the coconut taste with BT/Click.
