40 cc ?

I am not a surgeon; however, I am visualizing some of the syringes I have used for myself and daughter to administer tube feeds and 40 ccs is not too large. Follow your surgeon's program and you should get great results. Rest easy. You also have to take into account the length of the small intestine that was bypassed. Would you happen to know that? In any case, bariatric surgery is a powerful metabolic tool and if you have questions about the size of your pouch and why your surgeon crafted it that way, I would ask at a follow up visit. I am sure they would explain it to you and maybe put you more at ease
