Good morning menu friends! Miss Lily and I braved the ice and got our 3.6 miles in already and will do another mile later today. Accountability was perfect yesterday both food and stepwise and weight is 120.2 today. QOTD Mexican would be my number one choice but there are lots of types of ethnic food I've never had like Thai and Indian. Not much exposure to those here in the cornfields of Illinois. Here's the food plan for today B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L last of the leftover seafood salad D 4 oz ground beef patty with cheese and no bun. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone!

Good morning all! Great pics JB! My son's cat looks a lot like yours. She is very affectionate except she doesn't sit in laps. Might be because Justice gets there first?

I lost 2.2 this week at the WW weigh-in (I started going to meetings in mid December). I only need to lose .6 to be back to lifetime range and not have to pay.

My picture is of the little alligator in our pond:

QOTD: Probably Italian, but I've had to curb that because of the pasta. I do use a lot of good marinara on chicken and riced cauliflower.

TSS: 3 years, 10 months

B: Eggs, cottage cheese, and coffee

L: Sliced chicken

D: Shrimp

S: baked apple and/or pumpkin pudding

Good morning, and happy Finally Freaking Friday!

QOTD - Favorite international food...omg how much time do you have. I love everything from Indian to Ethiopian to African to American...and all in between. My favorite however is Mexican, Tex Mex specifically. Thankfully I live in South Texas and there is a restaurant on every corner.

Breakfast - None, fasting. Hot tea until noon.

Lunch - Having lunch with husband at a neat local place, will probably have salad and a personal vegan pizza

Snack - Fruit smoothie, frozen fruit, oat milk, water and chia seeds

Snack - An orange, some pretzels and hummus

Dinner - NO clue. Thinking something light, another salad and some veggies.

Here's a pic of one of several matching tattoos my husband and I have. We got this last year, I think around April. My leg was so chunky there! LOL now it's 40lbs lighter and looks like a chicken leg.

Let it begin with me.

Hello my RnY friends! Happy Friday!

All is well here in the PNW, where the sky is always grey and the world is permanently awash with rain. Can you tell I miss California?

A friend's cat clawed the s**t out of my hand yesterday. I bent down to pet him - he was sprawled on his back with his throat exposed, looking like he wanted to be stroked. He whipped around and sunk those claws deeply in until I was truly impaled. I was just stuck, unable to free myself, and he wouldn't retract his claws. It took several seconds to release myself, ouch. My hand is red, warm, swollen and very sore, but not quite as painful as it was last night, when I was monitoring it for discoloration and blood poisoning. I haven't been clawed by a cat in so long I don't remember when the last time was, probably when I was a kid.

I am doing well weightwise, holding steady in the mid-120's.

QOTD: I think I like best traditional European fare - Italian, French, Viennese, etc. I also like Japanese, (American) Chinese, and some but not all Thai food as well. I'm not a big fan of sweet dishes for dinner, I prefer savory. I don't usually favor Indian food. Mexican food I also skip, except for some of the Vera Cruz-style seafood dishes. Otherwise I find it too heavy - all those beans, riice, lard etc.

First: tea tea tea!

B: a little roast beast

L: tuna and a hard-boiled egg

D: shrimp stir fry with veggies

S: I don't know, maybe a little Turkey breast.

Have fun today, my friends!

did the cat bite you? If so, with those symptoms, I'd go to the ER as it sounds infected, and cat bites can be very dangerous. If it was just claws, probably not dangerous - but those symptoms still sound like it might be infected...

You're so right! My SIL was bitten by a cat 20 or so years ago, and required antibiotics. It was a terribly painful and infected bite with took time to heal. My friend's cat didn't bite me, just clawed. My hand feels better. Though it's still a bit swollen and tender, it is less so than before. I'll be be fine!
