Mornin' All!
Well starting today I'm taking the bull by the horns to get rid of some (or rather, ALL) of this excess weight I've been complaining about the last couple of months. I've really increased my exercise this past month (including going back to weights, which I've avoided for years), but now I really need to get serious about cutting back on the food part, too, since my weight isn't budging. I WILL be eating at the low end of my range (which for me is 1500 calories/day). If I don't see any progress by the middle of February, then we'll be cutting back more. I did something last night that I've never done - I logged all of my food for today (I usually log as I eat it), so I will be sticking to the plan. Hopefully this will do the trick!! (if not, there's the promised WW...). I have two meals out this week - a luncheon on Wednesday and a brunch on Sunday, but I should be able to work those in if I eat sensibly at those and don't blow the other days this week.
accountability was fine yesterday up until right before the Super Bowl party we went to. I ate a big bowl of Trader Joe's High Fiber cereal - and then took a big thing of diet cranberry "beverage" (5 calories a serving) to the party to keep myself from eating. Well I ate about 2 oz of cheese while there - which could have been worse, of course, but still...the plan was to eat NOTHING. So this morning I am feeling stuffed from all the fiber and waterlogged from the cheese. ARRGGH! Good day to start a new diet. Too bad I'm going to a research lab for this new study I'm in as they'll probably weigh me. UGH.
QOTD: we don't decorate for any holiday. We used to - a little - for Christmas, but that was in our pre-cat days. We've never decorated for anything else.
4 years 8 months out today!
B: protein pancakes with 1/2 C plain Greek yogurt and 1/2 C homemade blueberry compote, coffee with half & half
MS: RTD Unjury protein shake mixed with cold brew coffee
L: Beyond Burger on a "sandwich thin" with lettuce, tomato, and 2 t light Thousand Island dressing
AS: L&F creme brulee with 2 t tahini mixed in
D: salad with diced turkey and light dressing
baby carrots with 2 T hummus can be added as an additional snack if needed. If additional food is "needed", then more raw vegetables (with no hummus)
ex: either WERQ or Aqua Zumba
have a great day, everyone!!
Good Morning everyone!
I'm not sure how many of you even remember me. I've been AWOL for quite a while. I've regained some of the weight I lost. (I don't even want to say how much). I had my 4 year check-up with the bariatric clinic and now I'm really going to try to get back in gear and lose the excess weight and get back to posting on here.
QOTD: I decorate a little bit for Halloween. I put different wreaths on my door depending on the season. But otherwise it's mainly Christmas.
B: bacon, 3 strips, grits with melted cheese, greek yogurt
L: Smart Ones microwave meal
D: ground turkey taco
S: greek yogurt, Atkin's peanut butter cups
Great to see you all again!
Have a great Monday!
