Good morning all! I am off to a late start because I am taking today off! Grim and I are heading into Boston for the Red Sox annual "Truck Day" which is when the team loads up the huge 18 wheeler truck with all of the equipment, and we celebrate as it leaves Fenway Park and drives down to Fla for Spring Break. It's very silly but fun :)

It's also "biscuit day" because if any of you have been around here long enough, you have heard me talk about (or if you are lucky I have taken you to visit...) this BBQ restaurant right around the corner from Fenway that has these biscuits to DIE FOR. So after the truck rolls off, we are going to enjoy ourselves there. I have no idea if I coded the points correctly, but I essentially just chose the highest point biscuit and doubled the serving size. Same with the honey butter. They have a drink called the Dollywood that I calculated roughly, too. Needless say I'll be going over my points today and eating zero point foods for a few days to make up for it! #worthit

QOTD: Besides Christmas, are there any holidays you decorate for? I do a little table decorations for Thanksgiving and Easter dinner, but nothing much. I was at TJ MAXX the other day, though, and I couldn't believe the amount of Valentine's Day decorations. Wreaths, string lights, table cloths, plates, wall art....the list goes on! Do people really do that?

Good morning menu-ers! We have made it past the 3,876 days that were in January so bring on Feb which will only be 3,000 days since February is the shortest month!

JB - that sounds like a fun day!! Enjoy!

i am back home for a few days just in time for snow! We had great music, great company in Key West but some stormy weather -- my shoes are still trying to dry out! Great trip though and found some fun new music (and my friends that I was with are roll-with-the-punches people so a good time was hadn't all).

A thing I learned is that IV hydration to get over hangovers is a thing (they even had tents set up at the amphitheater!). If you're not hung over they can do "energy", "immunity", "fountain of youth" etc. I stayed hydrated the old fashioned way - coffee, tea and water, lol!

QOTD - I will change the wreath on my front door by season but that's about it.

menu today is

b - cottage cheese

l - 4 oz ever roast deli chicken and slice of cheese (.8 oz)

d - jalapeño sausage link

s - light and fit greek

have a great Monday all!

Morning! I think I'm coming down with something. Last night I was sneezing like crazy and had a little bit of stuffiness. This morning the stuffiness is gone but my eyes feel too big for their sockets and I could go back back to bed and sleep all day. I'm hoping some Tylenol will take the edge off.

QOTD: Last year was the first time we decorated for Halloween. Just a flag outside, some window clings, and a few other things. Otherwise, we've only ever decorated for Christmas and we're pretty low-key even for that.

My Food:

  • Egg, Cheese, English Muffin
  • Turkey, Cheese, Cucumber
  • Pulled Pork & Broccoli

I made a really, REALLY delicious chocolate mayonnaise with cream cheese frosting yesterday, so I'm going to have a piece of that at some point too if my blood sugar cooperates.

hey all

JB- biscuit and butter p$r$# pictures please! hahahahahaha

QOTD: I usually decorate for fall and Christmas, but the last 2 years have fallen short on this since it is STILL in storage. I'm a mess!!!

so we had some drama both here and GA over the weekend. the TN house needed the septic pumped so that was fun and smelly- it has the original cinder block box with concrete pad top- then we get to GA house on Saturday and NO WATER! The pipe at the well busted. so we had no water until Sunday morning. we were bottle watering and flushing toilet and refilling the tank. sunday when then well guy came I had a minor panic attack because he asked to see john at the well and I was thinking the worst. you guys probably remember last year we had to hydrofrack the well and get a new pump and filter- 7,000$ later we had clean water. It was a $200 fix and I was sooo happy. drove back yesterday to TN and got settled.

OH- I bought the instant pot air fryer lid and made wings on Saturday - they crisped up really well. Now I want to air fry EVERYTHING lol

Made it to the gym last night right before superbowl and it was dead! yayyyy I tried a new app called VOLT by Gatorade and it is pretty cool but very different to my last training program. I have to decide today if I want to sign up for 3 months.

foodplan today

protein pancakes

coffee

water

salad with mushrooms, green beans, asparagus and tuna and egg whites

I'm trying support group here in TN tonight- hopefully it is good
