What's on your (PHOTO FRIDAY) Menu, RNYers?
Great Picture. Liz if you do not use a FF Cottage cheese you should try the Hood Brand if they have it in your area. Definitely the gourmet of cottage cheese well worth the extra $

Mornin' All!
I have to take my MIL to the hospital this morning - she has an appt with a pulmonologist there (she was hospitalized with pneumonia back in October, and she has COPD, so they're just doing some follow-up testing to see what, if anything, is still going on). It'll be at least a couple of hours, so I'll take a book along. After that, no plans. I'm guessing she'll want to go to lunch somewhere because of timing and because she said she was going to be relieved when this is all over. No plans for this afternoon, although I need to do some cardio (like most days...) and yoga (it's been since Sunday, and I'm trying to do that - plus strength-training - 2x a week).
accountability was decent yesterday, plus I did lower body weight machines and 30 minutes on the stationary bike.
QOTD: with most things, I go for the store brand or sale items. After all, sugar is sugar. Chickpeas are chickpeas. But I do prefer certain brands for certain items, so I'll "splurge" and get those if it matters.
4 years 7 months out:
B: chaffles with L&F yogurt and homemade blueberry sauce, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: if I'm home, then salad with diced turkey and light dressing. If I go out with MIL (more likely), then something safe.
AS: if needed, yogurt with raspberries or protein pumpkin pudding (or protein pumpkin pie).
D: if the Beyond Burgers are thawed by then, then half of one of those on slim bun. If not, turkey meatballs with veggie "noodles"
last night we went to campus to return a book. While I was waiting for DH to come back to the car, I saw one of these whiz by. I had no idea what it was and was absolutely flabbergasted (it was dark, so when I first saw it coming down the sidewalk toward the car, I first thought it was a snowblower - with a person pushing it - but no! It was moving by itself! When DH got back, I told him what I saw - and he said it was some new food delivery service that goes from the food service units on campus to the dorms. Amazing! When we were driving away, we spotted another one and we stopped to take a few pictures - but it was dark and the pictures didn't turn out well - so I nabbed this one off the internet (the second one we saw appeared to get stuck in a snow drift, so I got out of the car to "help" it - but then it backed up and started going down the sidewalk again. I'm still so amazed by this!!)
OMG he is just soooo cute!!!
hi all- was just exhausted yesterday- didn't make it to gym after work- OR this morning because I couldn't sleep for about 3 hours last night so just layed on the couch. uggg. I also ate a 50 calorie piece of low carb bread also. it could have been waaay worse
QOTD: not really- I like trying new things. my only staples are the riced cauli from aldi. my protein powder can be changed out, egg whites, almond milk, I'm pretty open. I love to shop krogers app cause I can add the coupons as I'm putting things into the order. Most of the time there is a $5 charge but I say- that's worth it with the instant coupons, rebates and the fact I'm not impulsively buying in the isle...
pic is of the new floors in the TN house! yay
We are leaving tomm after Bell's puppy training for GA and I will come back Sunday unless I drive up super early Monday morning straight to work. we will see.
also trying to get this support groups schedule down in Chattanooga. I went his week- and no one showed- turned out they changed the schedule and didn't update the employee calendar.
food plan:
tough one we are having superbowl party at work and I made spicy mango rice and chili mac dip
I look like Andre the Giant next to you two.

Love the pic JB! And the sweater. I know I have seen that in the store... Do not be hard on yourself- we are works in progress. You look beautiful.
QOTD: Hit or miss. Mustard generic is fine, ketchup- Heinz. I actually prefer the taste of the Dijon mustard at Aldi over Trader Joe?s. I am only babying my nose during a cold with puffs plus. Do not be giving me a scratchy generic tissue. Ha. I find the Target generic food items to be pretty reliable.
Been a long week- stuck home for 2 days on my day off with a $1100 car repair, then yesterday back to work and I had tons of work to do- first day of a new sale cycle, shipment of product came, Regional Director cut store hours for part timers so I had to redo schedule... AND then get a phone call from Corporate Loss Prevention that they are on their way to do a surprise audit. Fun afternoon. No lunch, got out late. I hate when work cuts into my gym time.

Good Friday morning folks.
i got a referral to a neurosurgeon yesterday. The only issue is they don't think anyone here will take Medicaid. So it looks like Lubbock is back in the cards. I'm also going to get one more injection so they can say they tried.
I'm really tired and sore this morning.
qotd: a lot of generics are made by brand name companies. We don't always get the cheapest but we do get a lot of generic brands.
