What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Same here!! I am so thankful I can track my own kids. Today's world is just not the same.

Good morning, everyone!!
QOTD: Using Crisco to suntan was always a favorite when we were teenagers. I am thankful I did not develop skin cancer. I still get checked yearly.
TSS: 11 years out from RNY
Goal: lose 30 pounds of regain (down 11 with 19 more to go)
I am still loving WW. I track every bite and stay within my points. I have been getting my 10,000 steps in and am working on getting more sleep. Losing regain is much tougher, but I know it will come off if I do what I need to do. I am working on being patient and forgiving myself for gaining.
Things here are good.

Sun-In made my hair turn orange so it was lemon juice for me!!

JB, 9 points sounds insane! I like White Dove's advice as far as points. I fell off the WW wagon but you all are inspiring me so I may give it a go again. It's a constant battle.
What a fun QOTD! Lord, I pretty much did what you all did. Rode my bike without a helmet, was out alllll day alllll over the neighborhood...tanned (had skin cancer removed from my face already once)...lied about where I was and went to all night "field" parties in the woods and drank Mad Dog 20/20 and Cisco...the one thing that I did not do was ride in cars without seatbelts - my mom was way ahead of her time and was a dictator about seatbelts!
I did kickbox cardio last night, and after Body Pump on Monday...I am hurting! It felt good but man it was tough. It's basically 50 minutes of pure cardio and you're also punching and kicking. I am not a skilled kicker and frankly I look absurd lol.
B: defrosted some turkey meatballs since I am out of Boars Head (back to the grocery tonight!)
L: Kris is bringing something home - either a Chipotle burrito bowl or Jimmy Johns (really need to get to the grocery!)
D: Will buy a rotisserie chicken at the grocery tonight and may sauté it up with onions and peppers and add fajita seasoning, then eat it with salsa, sour cream, cheese
E: Going for a brisk 4 hour walk with my neighbor during lunch. We chat chat chat, it's so fun!
We always wore seatbelts, too. I remember my aunt making fun of my parents for making us wear them.

I used to look forward to going places with friends (early 80s) because we could bop all over the backseat...whereas in our car, it was seatbelts on before my mom would put the car in reverse!
Knowing what we know now about how seatbelts can save lives, it's insane that people used to be so lax about them!
Happy Friday-Eve! JB-sorry you had such a rough meeting but I'm glad you had others around to encourage you. I have several meetings and conference calls today but I'm not sure any will be to intense. Monday I have a team meeting ya lead with one of my locations that I'm not looking forward to.
Accountability: Good! I had a latte in the afternoon but I consider those "on plan" since I usually grab one if I run an errand in the afternoon.
QOTD: Riding in the back of our truck.
TSS: 5 years 5 months
B: SF latte, Quaker protein/fiber oatmeal and turkey sausage
L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots
S: Chaffle and carbmaster cottage cheese
D: RGF enchiladas, small salad with salsa, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate
ES: low carb pita with SF jelly and cream cheese, Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal
E: 8 mile run and 40 mins elliptical
V/W: On track
Totals: Cals:1444 Protein:123 Carbs:129 Fat:55
Have a great one!
QOTD - I was 8 and my brother was 5 - mom handed me $10 and I took him to Wrigley field to see a Cubs game by myself. No issues, no one said a thing. General admission was 90 cents in those days (1968). The only rule was i had to hold my brothers hand the whole time we weren't in our seats. I probably took him a dozen times over the years like that. My mom would have been in jail by today's standards, and god knows what would have happened to us in today's world.
Slipped a little last night - ate some popsicles and dark chocolate that was unplanned. But blood sugar was 106 this morning, so generally heading in the right direction.
Pwo - cup oatmeal
B - 1 egg, 1 piece toast
L - Chicken, salad, vegetables
S - cheese and apple
D - salad and meatballs my wife made
HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)
